Will the Eagles go after Romo

The guy couldn’t take a hit any longer. He couldn’t even practice regularly when healthy, taking a day off every week just to rest that back from the throwing motion. He is long over the hill, and only fans are thinking he could still play.

Okay, just completely ignore what I said and continue with your false narrative.

Btw, he only missed one game due to that back issue...in 2013.

Romo definitely wouldn't last a full season anymore. Some fans are bitter and angry though that he wasn't parachuted into the playoffs last year to try and guide the Cowboys to a SB. Not really Dak's fault, he wasn't the one calling the shots

What is BS is they didn’t give him more drives in the Philly game..

They ‘supported’ him the majority if his career with no OL, no running attack and a ‘head coach in training’ with a garbage defense.. and when pieces were finally set in place to play with an elite RB and this OL benched him for a dude that has trouble throwing the ball downfield..

Was going to respond to this but read the rest of the thread first.

You are a strange guy

They wouldn't know that yet, would they?

Usually a grade 3 or complete rupture gives you considerable more movement in a lachman test, so it's easy to know how torn an ACL is. Meniscal injuries are also relatively easy to test for without needing imaging right away, as the ACL attaches to the medial meniscus. MCL also attaches to the meniscus. Alot of time an ACL tear will injury both MCL and medial meniscus, as well as having a tibial plateau fracture if the force is high enough. Cartilage lesions and plateau fractures are hard to confirm without imaging, but would be quite unbearable when standing and walking on it.

Why do people keep acting like it was hard hits that put Romo out? It wasn't. It was awkward landings that put unusually high torque/compression at certain points.

He was not made of glass.

100% agree. It is crazy. The guy never had a ligament injury and people act like he was made of glass. He took some really awkward hits due to his playing style. You see the same thing with Rodgers and Luck with their similar aggressive styles. Rodgers just broke his collar bone for the second time. Is he made of glass?

I'm not ignoring; I just disagree. He was an avg QB who crumbled at crunch time; then for a few years he was a GREAT QB who carried the team on his back. He is now just a has-been...happens to all players. Romo couldn't lead the Eagles anywhere, and he's currently not as good as Foles, imo.

Yup...you're opinion is worthless. You're entitled to it though. I'll just have to remind myself..."Chuck 54 doesn't know football. Don't pay attention."
