what i have read said it will be open when temp is between 50 and 80 degrees
sundays temp is supposed to be 84.
im betting it wont be open but its a night game so maybe it will be cool
enough by gametime for them to do it.

for this game i am kinda thinking...leave it closed.

I doubt it. It has to be in the 60's outside to open it up
It's open when sunny and between 50 and 85.

For Sunday the forecast is a high of 84, so being a night game, I would assume there's a very good chance it'll be open.

The big star on top of the scoreboard, that can be seen from overhead when the roof is open (so I've heard) .. Jerry was bragging on this star lately.

Since it's a big TV game Jerry'll probably open the roof and tell the network to fly over and view the star ...

Well nevermind I guess there will be a star at midfield too for this game. That's the one that counts ..

I remember going to a Rangers game in the early 90s, and the thermometer on the scoreboard still read 95 at 7:15 at night. Of course, it was a dry heat.......... yeah right.

That's just a normal Rangers game in the summer.

That happens a lot in the DFW area. The question is...what time of year was it that you went to that Rangers game? If it was in June, July or August that temp is to be expected. In September it tends to cool off a bit.

I've seen it at 99 at first pitch. That's the difference between Texas and other places. Here in Virginia it can get hot during the day but by nightfall it's pretty nice and even cool outside. In Texas the heat doesn't go away.
