They wouldn't even be in the same realm. Micah would command probably something like 2 first round picks and a 2nd. Cowboys aren't currently in a win now window either.

Luka got shipped for a 2029 first rounder and an injury prone 32-year-old. This was also coming off a season in which they made the finals + invested future picks in making the team better now so they could win.

So now your windows gone, your premium picks are mostly gone the next 4 seasons, you most likely won't have any legit prospects in the pipeline, and free agents won't want to play with you.

I don't think they could trade Micah for a 1st. I think they know how much other teams hate the Jones personally. Those teams wouldn't give the right value for a Micah type player

Possible trades I would make if I was GM:

1. Parsons to the Raiders for 6th pick and a 3rd and a 1st next year.
2. Parsons to the Bears for the 10th and a 2nd and a 1st next year.
3. Parsons to any team drafting after the 15th pick for this years first and 2 first rounders in the next 2 years.

I’m still of the opinion that no GMs are gonna give up two 1sts and then have to hand out the biggest defensive contract ever. A year or a year and a half ago absolutely

No if they shopped him to every single team, they would 100% get multiple first round picks. LT, DE, and QB are premier positions, you get high value for all pro caliber players especially those that are relatively young.

Laremy Tunsil who has never even made 1st or 2nd team all pro got trade for 2 first and a 2nd. Micah whose finished top 5 in defensive player of the year voting 3 times would easily command a similar value.
