Anything other than Moore should be an improvement. Unless Dak was the problem. We will see soon enough..
I can see it now…a good play…MM called it…a bad play…Dak called it….
Unfortunately this may be true. In the past the coaching staff has REPEATEDLY a refused to pull Dak in a blowout and let the backup get some work in……ridiculous.Maybe in blowouts.
Right because after seven seasons and 61 wins he clearly as no idea how to play quarterback at this level.Calling plays against a vanilla defense doesn't make Dak a genius.
But I am glad they let him do it so he could gain some insight on what it is he's supposed to accomplish as the quarterback.
I posted a thread on it weeks ago and no one liked the idea, but it might help him understand his job.

Dak was drafted April 2016. Fast forward to the third preseason game, August 2023, and it finally occurred to someone on the Cowboys' coaching staff to introduce Dak to the concept of what he's supposed to accomplish as a quarterback.
Here's a tip: if you want to diss Dak, fine, but at least read what you type before hitting the "post reply" button. Some of this stuff is pure comedic genius, football genius, not so much.
It’s funny that the ones that complain the most about negativity here actually set the table for it.You really like to stir the pot and start trouble, huh?
Noted. Here is another tip, you don't like it, don't read it. Very easy to do.

if it’s not happening organically they will make it happen……and predictably complain about it, lol
The leader of this offense, the great veteran QBs should have the key to the offense by the coaches. We saw Dak call plays in the pre season, is there a chance we see him call his own plays in the huddle? Please give your thoughts. I know killing the play is basically what this is, but I mean calling it all, the staff putting all trust in him!???

When you're right as much as I have been, you can diss me.Right because after seven seasons and 61 wins he clearly as no idea how to play quarterback at this level.

You are literally suggesting Dak knows nothing about calling plays as he enters his eighth year in the NFL. Stuff all QB's start work on the moment they are drafted. When you're right as much as I have been, you can diss me.
Not liking the truth doesn't make you smart.
For what it's worth I am not angry about what you said, we are all entitled to our opinions here and it would be nicer if we all got along better.I was addressing you, not anyone else...ooookkkk, then.

This is what separates the good ones from the bad ones or the one’s who can’t get over the hump.I would want my QB to be capable of calling plays, especially in a hurry up situation.
I wouldn't give him free reign to do as he pleases, but I would want him to use his "feel" for what's going on in the moment to take advantage of opportunities that the coord might not be able see from the booth.
It's not a falsehood; we've all watched him choke and wander to the sidelines, expecting the coaches to come up with something different. You are literally suggesting Dak knows nothing about calling plays as he enters his eighth year in the NFL. Stuff all QB's start work on the moment they are drafted.
I'm not trying to be smarter than anyone and I am not calling you dumb.
But pulling falsehoods out of the air just to emphasize the "Dak Sucks" narrative doesn't support said narrative. It just looks forced.

No hard feelings at all.
Really? Hmmm seems odd you respond to someone else's post but addressing me...I was addressing you, not anyone else...ooookkkk, then.
