Will wade back next year?

I thought the Jerry Jones had already made the decision after the Playoff Win.

I believe Wade Phillips is back.

However, Jerry Jones looked PO'ed on the side lines.

Jerry does look unusually pissed and maybe, just maybe this kinda of a collapse will have him make a solid, Parcells type of coaching change. I sure hope so, but we will see.

Yes. Our D was worn down at the end but played solid for 3 quarters.

Garrett? That's a little harder to defend, but the OLine play was putrid.

I'd want to fire Hudson Houck.

Wade will be back, I just wish the same wasnt true about Garrett. He is way too up and down. When things start going back they usually continue to stay bad, he doesnt have the experience to lead this team offensively.

He is up and down and very stubborn. He knew the plan was not working and made ZERO adjustment . ZERO.

I think Wade should be informed that he's out of the picture on their way back to Dallas,if not before.

I think so. Playcalling and The O-Line killed us today.

Didnt see anything wrong with the playcalling.

If you cant block anybody, there are no magic plays to erase that. Our OL was just flat our awful. Those guys gave us absolutely no chance today.

WP only coaches the D....not sure he's the problem here.

However, it looks like we showed up not sure of who we were supposed to play.

:hammer: Bingo!! We have a winner! We were not prepared or motivated today. That goes on the head coach!!

you know... Garett's playcalling has looked pretty good in the end of the season... I'm not sure why he broke out the headscratchers in this game. He was so predictable in this game that it was suprising after seeing the last few. I'm wondering if he has a problem making adjustments...

I still want him and Wade back but... He's hard to defend today

Of course he will be, because he's now 1-5 in the playoffs, and because Jerry is a ****ing idiot.

Not Wade's fault, this was clearly on the offense, they did not come prepared, Defense was in bad positions all game. How musch can we expect from them, they have been holding up all year long. The Offense has been servicable but against a D that was ready to take heads off they fell short.. NO loses next week. Im not mad Farve played his *** off today and Romo had no chance at all to throw down field cause the line never blocked. I don't mind Wade caming back.

I think Wade should be fired for the decision to go for the 48 yard FG on fourth and one in the first quarter.

Game over, right there.

Not that the Cowboys had the chops to be the Vikings anyway...but man oh man, that was a bad decision.

The FG kicker hasn't shown he's a given at that distance...in fact, the FG kicker hadn't shown anything...

The Vikings couldn't stop the Cowboy's offense at that point.

Bad message to send to the team.

Two plays later, the Vikings had the long TD to Rice.

And it ain't second guessing on my part cuz I flipped when I saw him sending the fg unit out.

Why shouldn't Wade be back? I think he did a great job this year with the defense. This game was not a defensive lost.

If they really need to pit the blame on someone why not point to the Off Coordinator? Again his lack of adjustments and being under pressure doesn't cut it. WE need to find another off coordinator. Jason Garret is not the answer.

Why would he not be back? We won a playoff game for the first time in 13 years. I want as little amount to change as possible because next year could be a much better year if we just make a few small changes.

No...Wade needs to go. The outcome will be the same because next year when the chips are down and you are in the playoffs (especially the divisional round) and most of the teams are about equal in terms of talent then it all comes down to coaching.

And I know for a fact that Wade was the 12th best coach in the playoffs this year. Another uninspired putrid performance further enhanced by a putrid gameplan.

A bad gameplan and a team that basically doesn't show up when it comes to intensity and heart...

That is coaching, friend.

Its incredible that the O line just fell apart like it did. This was its worse performance that I can remember since we lost the Hotel and had TUcker and Petiti at tackles. ALmost as bad as 2002.

The HC is in charge of more than just the Defense. If he has no control over the offense, how they run, what they do, then he is not the Head Coach and should not be counted as such. Make him the D-coord and let him run the D if that is all he is in control of in reality.

Wade Phillips is the head coach and the "buck stops there" when it comes to the outcome of any given game.

He's the freakin head coach, not just the the DC. Can we stop excusing his team getting shellacked because the defnese happened to play less terrible than the offense?

Do people give Shannahan a pass that his defenses were terrible for years because he's the OC?

Totally agree, 95% of the time the intended play never developed due to Romo having to avoid the pressure.

I am so upset at this offensive line, it is worse knowing how good they can be and how dominant they can be but man this was like they were preparing for flag football game all week not a divisional championship game.

I agree -- that was the dumbest coaching decision I've seen from a Dallas coach in years. I hesitate saying he should be fired for it, since he's such a good coach, but holy cow was that stupid.

Even if it's the case that he let Garrett make the decision, he's stupid for allowing that red-headed ******* make any decisions.
