That one play pretty much killed it for me today.

The whole entire game was downhill from there.

Not that the Cowboys had the chops to be the Vikings anyway...but man oh man, that was a bad decision.

The FG kicker hasn't shown he's a given at that distance...in fact, the FG kicker hadn't shown anything...

The Vikings couldn't stop the Cowboy's offense at that point.

Bad message to send to the team.

Two plays later, the Vikings had the long TD to Rice.

And it ain't second guessing on my part cuz I flipped when I saw him sending the fg unit out.

I agree Juke. I was saying the Cowboys should have went for it, on 4th down, at that part of the field. I think they would have made the 1st down, but I think you have to bring back Wade and work on that O line, they were putrid today.

Wade won a playoff game for the first time in Dallas since Barry Switzer was the coach. You think another coach can be better then you are an idiot. People though there was better than Switzer 12 years ago and we ended up being a bad footbal team for about 8 years. You don't fire a coach after winning a playoff game when your program hasn't won a playoff game in a decade. You give that coach a raise.

I agree -- that was the dumbest coaching decision I've seen from a Dallas coach in years. I hesitate saying he should be fired for it, since he's such a good coach, but holy cow was that stupid.

Even if it's the case that he let Garrett make the decision, he's stupid for allowing that red-headed ******* make any decisions.

He is a good coordinator but not a good coach. Good coaches do not have blowout losses to end the season like we have had the last two years.:bang2:

Bad decision because:

1- Field position if ya miss

2- The FG kicker, who my guess is won't even be with the team next year, has been less than reliable...and is anything but a given from that distance.

3- The Vikings couldn't stop the offense.

4- In the playoffs a FG isn't 3 points...it's a loss of 4 points because, especially with an offense like the Vikings have, you have to score TD's

5- Horrible message to send to the team.

6- Read #5 another dozen times.

One bad decision doesn't mean fire a coach. If that were true than NE needs to fire their coach. He's won 3 SBs but he made a bad decision in going for 4th down against the Colts early this year.

We still need to add playmakers on both sides. This draft was a total
disaster. Not one playmaker from this draft. The division will be tough as usual. Giants will be back, Philly will improve, and the skins got shanahan. We have to aggresive this offseason.

I say fire him....this team is loaded, except the Oline....I think that's all we are good for, one playoff win with him at the helm. It's sad, but true. He's one hell of a DC though!

IMO, it's not a bad decision...it's an insight into how the guy thinks.

Remember how many times we've said that the team doesn't know how to go for the kill shot? Doesn't know how to make the big play?

It's a reflection of the head coach.

He's made plenty of bad decisions...they all do....but a true winner...a guy with guts, which is what this team needs at the helm, goes for it in that spot.

Like I said, I'd rather have seen the punting unit on the field. Even that would have been a more gutsy call...and it would have been a smarter call.
