Will wade back next year?

I would not give him an extension. I think there are going to be better options for HC in 2011. I would exercise his option for next year, and say we will look at this again, after next season.

Why sign an extension?

I am not that big of a Wade fan ; I just don't see better options at this point.

Unfortunately, Wade coaches the way he looks and today his team was a perfect reflection of him.

IMO, it's not a bad decision...it's an insight into how the guy thinks.

Remember how many times we've said that the team doesn't know how to go for the kill shot? Doesn't know how to make the big play?

It's a reflection of the head coach.

He's made plenty of bad decisions...they all do....but a true winner...a guy with guts, which is what this team needs at the helm, goes for it in that spot.

Like I said, I'd rather have seen the punting unit on the field. Even that would have been a more gutsy call...and it would have been a smarter call.

You would have punted with the ball on the 31 yard line???

Wow.

Disgraceful today - unprepared, soft , indecisive and embarrassed.

Colombo killed this team - all Wade on that call.

The QB? Tony Romo? he stunk today - the OL? stunk both look confused and unprepared - all coaching.

Terrible - terrible game today - Do NOT try and defend this team when the ripping comes - we earned it.

I disagree. These games happen to everybody. It even happened to Jimmy Johnson in 1991.

We need consistancy. The defense has shown that its starting to get it and the offense, regardless of what happened today, is a dangerous unit. If we get rid of Wade/Garrett all of that is over. We have to learn a new system and that takes time. If we keep cycling in new coaches then we are constantly in a state of rebuilding. Consistancy is what this team needs.

the only thing about Wade today that has me ticked off is the attitude.

it seemed like the majority of the team came out with not much motivation today, almost like they were content with winning that playoff game last week and that anything else was just icing on the cake.

i LOVE wade as the defensive coordinator. you CANNOT blame the defense today b/c they were put in terrible positions by the offense today. i think Minny got 2 really good drives the whole game.

i don't know what will happen or what needs to happen with the coaches, but if Wade is gone i have concerns over what would happen with the defense.

Wade made the right calls to go for the FGs early. Why would you go for it when you are in fg range, or you could do what MInny did instead of trying a 49 yarder...punt.

You don't go for it in that circumstance, imo.

First off, EVERBODY'S job should be in danger....secondly, WP has nothing to do with the O, so Columbo isn't WP's problem....but who goes in for him? Free's already doing a good job on the other side of the line.

knee jerk much?

the team was prepared and outplayed Minny in the first quarter.
the kicker failed them and Flo got hurt forcing the backup OT into the game ANYWAY. Not starting Columbo would have done nothing except delay his entrance for a few series.

wade isn't in any trouble. this team had a good season and his defense had a great season.

Yeah but the difference is Jimmy went out and fixed the problems. Come opening day next season, we probably put the same 5 O-Lineman out there. This OL wears down late in the year. We've seen it for the past few seasons. I think more than anything that's been the reason for our late season woes.

Every coach makes bad decisions. Everybody in life does. You don't get fired for all your bad decisions if we did the unemployment rate would be 100% instead of about 10%.

I wanted Shanahan but I am not sure who would be available. Garrett is a terrible play caller so I hope there are some changes.

You think we didn't fix a lot of problems this year as the season went on?

If Wade gets fired I hope you enjoy Garrett as HC next year.

I'll take my chances with Garrett,i've seen enough of Wades' dog and pony show.
