Will we ever wear the throwbacks (Thanksgiving) Jerseys again?

I know this may not be that important to most, but this particular issue is to me.

For those unaware, the NFL stated that teams could not switch helmets midseason due to safety reasons, meaning that the Cowboys could not wear the white helmets on Thanksgiving day. This meant that we could not wear the throwback unis as they [obviously] don't match well with the regular silver helmets, hence the reason we wore the navys last year.

Does anyone know if this particular issue is going to be a recurrence? I do plan on replacing my Authentic Thanksgiving Day Owens jersey with a Dez Bryant, as I already have the authentic Romo. But I'm wondering if we will even wear them ever again and if not, does that mean at some point they will be discontinued from the Cowboys/NFL shops?

EDIT: Could mods change the title slightly ('where' to 'wear'). Thanks!

Wish that was our uni all season long. Also wish they wore the alternate version of that uni, which has never happened.

I much prefer the silver helmet over the white one, so I've never been a big fan of the throwback.

I wish they would make the 80's or 90's uni's the new throwbacks myself ( blue ones )

I would think he could simply wear the thanksgiving jersey with the silver pants and helmet. You would have a similar look to the 94 double star uniform.

Until this team gets back to where they should be, I could not care less what uniforms they wear. Besides the throwback jerseys where just another way to drum up business by offering fans a different jersey to purchase. I have not spent a penny on this team since the 44 - 6 Eagle debacle in 2008 and I will continue to not spend a penny until this team gets back to where they should be.

I guess I'm wondering how the NFL/Cowboys can continue to sell a jersey that is no longer even worn. This is my hope that they will allow us to wear the jerseys again this year. As someone else mentioned, I think these jerseys are the BEST in the entire NFL.

There are a lot of jerseys sold that are never worn - like the blacked out jerseys, etc.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing the Thanksgiving jerseys all year, either

I guess I should have been more specific as I only buy the authentic (elite) jerseys. Does the NFL/Cowboys sell authentic/elite jerseys that aren't worn?

Whatever uniform makes our defense played better is fine by me.

Those were the worst and I don't like the throwbacks, either. Stick to the classic Cowboys look. They ones that they made famous by winning and are recognized worldwide.
