Will we go cheap in FA?

What do y'all think were are gonna do?

Maybe Jerry will want to bring in lots of lower level, low risk guys on Defense to fill holes or depth issues, while we focus on O in the draft. I really only think we will have 1 big FA signing (either ILB, WR or OLB) with most of our pickups in the draft improve the O.

This year with Ireland running the show for the draft we will be called having one of the best offseason with signing/drafting sexy players like Abraham, McNeil, TO or Landry.

Unless a new CBA is reached I don't see us making more than one big move in FA and maybe one or two smaller one's. I can see us doing a sign and trade with the jets to get Abraham but other than that Not much. Remember unless a new CBA is reached then you can only prorate SB's for 3 years and figure us to be around 10 under the cap You can see that much of a SB will eat a lot of that cap space quickly, also I wouldn't mind trading out of the first round as well unless the CBA is extended. Same reason.

Why would the Jets do a sign and trade ?

They take a cap hit in an already poor situation with so much money tied up in Pennington.
