Will we make cuts today or wait until tomorrow?

Just curious if at least some cuts will be done today or if we have to wait for some reason.

I think they'll wait till the last moment like most teams do. The only guys that usually get released early are vets they want to give an early lead on exploring other options.

I'm sure they are still arguing over a few guys and won't make their minds up till the deadline.

Jerry usually waits until the last minute so he can see who the other teams cut.

It only makes sense to wait as long as possible.

A player cut today could sign with another team and get a few extra days of practice, decreasing Dallas' chances of signing them to the PS.

While technically this is true, all teams have to have their final cuts to 53, so they already have 22 guys to cut. If they claim a guy from the waiver wire, they'd have to cut a 23rd person. Going early might actually give them a better chance to sneak someone through initially...but, as always, it's risky.

But if a player like say Lemon is cut today, another team can cut the 75th guy on their roster, bring him in and at least check the mental aspects of his game.

Don't they have to go early so they can start implementing the game plan for the Giants? That game is 6 days away.
