I was reviewing what tape I could find on the last game and saw something that I haven't seen in years on our team. There were a number of times that our DT's were stoned at the LOS. That's nothing new, as it happens to every DT on every defense during a game. What is encouraging is the ability for our DT's to quickly see that instead of staying locked in and resetting to push, on some plays they quickly disengaged and followed the flow of the play. There were a number of times that the quick decision making of the DT's made what could have been a 4-5 gain only a 1-2 yard gain. This is new for us. The guys on Philly's interior may not be at full health, but they are not JAG's and are quite battle-tested players. I hope this is the dawn of a new era of Cowboy defense.

It is a new dawn and you will LOVE IT~!

Cause to be happy, I remember we got those two DT's in the draft several years ago and we hoped that that would fix things. They were just GUYS, we actually got 2 guys that know how to make plays

We have all been crying out for this FO to invest in the DT position for decades.

They finally made a big investment and the results are immediate and definitive.

Hopefully this is a watershed moment for the FO where the lightbulb goes off and they never again criminally under-value positions that are key to winning football.

They grasp the importance of the OL and have invested there for years. The DL is just as important and the key to championship football in winning in the trenches.

It sucks that something so obvious has taken 30 years to become a “revelation “ to JJ— but, better late than never I guess lol

Stoned? I'd have been ecstatic with stoned at the LOS the last few years. Our DTs ended up pushed back to the 2nd level more than they held their own ground and stayed at the LOS
