Williams, Furrey, and Willams will be going deep.

I hope our secondary and defensive line are up for it. Could this be the game that we see more of Aaron Glenn in? Could we possibly see the first glimpse of Tony Parrish? I certainly hope so.

It's amazing how we make every offense look like it's ranked #1. This week will probably be no different. I want to see some hunger and pride from the Cowboys defense going into the playoffs. We'll see.

Going deep isn't the issue. It's going short that's the problem. And after awhile of going short, then teams go deep on the defense. Of course, their QB gets all day to throw back there (thanks Zimmer!)

Well, short or deep, I am curious to see how much 4-3 Bill shows against a Mike Martz offense that while lacking the necessities of an effective Martz o (stalwart linemen who can pass protect for eons, top speed receivers who can blast downfield, and a Marshall Faulk versatile tailback) still put up big numbers..where it doesn't really count.

I don't know what last millenium's genius has been up to in Detroit, but I do know Kitna, for all their offensive woe and record, is just a few yards short of 4000 yards, and this Furray dude is a 1000 yard receiver.

What the record compared with passing yards smell like tho is Mike didn't exactly adapt well to his 'circumstances'....just forced a system on an unlikely recipient.

Newman on R Williams
Glenn on Furrey
and anyone else should be able to cover M Williams even Fergie :D

This I somewhat agree with. Mike Williams has been a total embarrassment since being drafted. It's almost like he forgot how to perform on the field after exiting college. I'm really not too concerned with him. Now Roy Willams and Furrey OTH... Whew... It'll be interesting.

I do think that Mike Martz can figure out how to score against us. Kitna is good enough to throw for 300 on us if we aren't careful. Now, we should moe the ball against them, and personally I would like to see us come out and run it down their throats with MBIII starting.

Mike Williams should be moved to TE period. that year lay off from football did him bad

Henry had an ok game, and with the int, hopefully has regained his confidence, and he will start playing like he did last year.

What I would like to see since we have two good backs, why not go with a split back formation with Barber on one side and Jones on the other and then fake a pitch to one and toss it to the other.

That would require dynamic thinking on the part of our offensive braintrusts. I'm not saying they aren't capable of, or have never thought outside the box. That idea just might be a little to far outside the box for them. Good idea though.

Dallas will be reeling deep until they prove they can stop someone and since the pass rush is enemic Kitna will probably have time to find his Roy Williams and the belt buster Mike Williams even if he has a Big Mac in his mouth.

This game is important from a stand point of confidence and achieving a ten win season but a loss is not crushing, hardly even exasperating anymore, just the tale tell barometer of the attitude of the team this closing month of the season.

Covering Mike Williams deep won't be a problem. We can just put Bradie James on him 1 on 1, and that'll take care of that.

Mike Williams = very large bust... and I ain't talkin' about boobies either.

Detroit has offense there's no question and with the way our defense is playing you could see another loss. Things will be ugly in here if that happens.

Munchis....Out!!

I don't think Mike Williams can go deep.
Why?
Because Furrey is a converted DB.
When a converted DB greatly outplays your first rounder WR,then he cannot beat you deep...unless Roy Williams is covering him.

Roy Williams - the basketball coach - could cover Mike Williams, so Roy Williams - the safety - won't have a problem doing so.

Jason Witten plays the WR position better then Mike Williams. I predicted before he was drafted that he'd be a second round pick... should of been a second DAY pick.

I adjusted my mode of thought earlier.

Mike Williams is a joke and a half. Furrey and Roy Williams? Our CBs better bring their hard hats.

That all said, I wouldn't be surprised if they ran Roy Willams and Furrey all over the deep routes and slipped Mike Williams in the slot where he could do damage and own the middle of the field against one of our LBs. (Bradie James)
