We're paying Hurns more than Williams and is he worth it?

Why, because he had a 1000 yard season three years ago?

The guy can't even stay healthy and has 5 touchdowns in the last 2 years... I wouldn't be surprised to see Hurns struggle here just as Williams has with Dak.

It will be interesting to see where he falls on the depth chart. He certainly isn't a #1 receiver, and I'd suggest he isn't a #2 either. I wouldn't be surprised (nor would I be pleased) if the Cowboys go receiver in round 1 so they can release Bryant.

Saying why’re both garbage is your opinion. The stats show Hurns has been more productive in lesser amount of games. 80 to 52. And all t will has in those 28 extra games is about 700 yards. Which equals out to 25 yards per game he’s added by being healthy.

You can’t find me a stat that shows Williams
Is better than Hurns. It’s fine to have opinions, but the numbers don’t lie.

Hurns has 15 in the past three seasons compared to Williams 7. And Hurns did that missing 12 games.

The fact that you had to go to a 3rd year, should be red flag enough... Literally paying the guy for one good year of football, out of four...

Because supply and demand in 2018. Have you seen some of the crazy WR contracts this free agency period?

But I agree in a sense that I'm not as high on Hurns as some other posters. The suggestion that he's in Dallas to replace Dez (made by a few) is laughable.

Good question. But I think it's fair to surmise that he wasn't signed for 6 mil/season to get stuck behind Dez, Williams and Beasley on the depth chart. Not sure what the result will be but there are more chips to fall.

Hurns is better than t will. And he will take pressure off of Dez.
Should actually help Dez if Hurns can make some plays down field. Providing Dak can get the ball to him. And our O-Line gets back to where it was.

You guys do realize dak had a very good deep ball grade this season. Don't blame him because his receivers are slow and don't know how to stack a db on a go route.

A receiver has to be moved to have this even make the slightest sense financially.

Beasley has a 4.25 million cap hit with 1 million in dead money if released. He is on the last year of his contract.

Williams has a 4.75 million cap hit with 7.25 million in dead money if released.

Dez Bryant has a 16.5 million cap hit with 8 million in dead money if released.

Dez has the most dead money, but also frees the most space going forward. Dez only has a couple years left on his contract as well. It's clearly time to move on. It would be great if you could trade him for something.

Misleading. His percentages are high because he rarely goes deep. He doesn't have confidence in his accuracy to beat a DB deep. He waits for broken plays in large part.

Most QBs aren't going to throw deep balls when the receivers are so slow that a db is on their hip and pushing them against the sideline. That is not "open". And dez used to be able to just out muscle and out jump whoever was covering him. It just hasn't been there
