Darnold threw for three bills today while Wilson throws 4 picks in a brutal loss to the Patriots. Did the Jets give up too soon on Darnold and Mac Jones falling all the way to what 15 round one may set the Patriots up for some deep January games for years to come. Dallas gets Darnold and Jones coming up should be interesting .

Darnold had no chance in NY. No line, almost no weapons, and the very worst offensive design in the league.
He now has one of the very best OCs, a great group of weapons, and a manageable oline.
Its just so different

Wilson on the other hand could easily end up being a superstar, but he's in a rough spot.
Certainly, the 2nd game of his rookie season would give zero indication one way or the other.

As for Pats landing Mac Jones......yep....they stole him.
You can see why San Francisco almost took Jones with the 3rd overall pick.

LaFleur calling the shots on offense the GB HC bro and they invested in some weapons in the draft . I think Becton suffered a severe injury not going to help that Oline . It’s sink or swim dont think makes much sense to bench him at this point.

Over in Miami Buffalo put a whipping on the Fish and Tua got hurt .

I'm talking about NYJ offensive play-calling and philosophy last year not this year

It's way too early to tell anything this year

Right I was talking this year. Adam Gase was a disaster but I think he ended up on the NE staff , might be Mac Jones mentor.

It's not so much that they have up on him as opposed to what to do with him. When was the last time a starting qb didn't get paid market value on his second contract? Do you think Darnold would have accepted less to stay with the Jets?

QBs Jackson and Mayfield didn't get extensions either, so you think either one will take any less than Josh Allen money? No. They need to be booted of their team to take less. That seems to be the way it is with quarterbacks. Not with other positions, just quarterbacks.
