Win is a win or is it?

This is a great win and I wouldn't ever give it back but here are my worries:

Victor Cruz had a lot of crucial drops while being mostly wide open. That has to get better because if he catches those it's most likely a different outcome.

The oline did much better than expected but have to get much better at penalties.

Murry's vision - did anyone else notice on his long run that if he had just followed Dez's block, instead of cutting back inside to deliver the hit, he would have scored. He also cut back to the middle after getting thru the hole when if he had just kept going in the direction he was already going, he had a whole lot of room to run. Love him as our running back, don't get me wrong but their were a lot of yards left out there (nitpicking I know but there it is ...)

Ogletree had a great night for him but he should have. He was playing against 4th and 5th string corners. He's not always gonna have that luxury.

All in all I'll take the win because we can only play who they put in front of us but lets not kid ourselves into thinking we won against the Giants Apples to Apples.

There is nothing I can complain about with that win. You have to give the other team a little credit. They're going to make some plays.

We took out the champs at their place in the opener before a national audience. With all our key pieces looking good.

Enjoy it.

Oh I am, I just know that we are going to have to improve some things if we are also going to win the rematch.

Why can't people ever enjoy a damn win? We just beat a team who has owned us in the past and a team that is the defending Super Bowl. Sure we made a few mistakes, but so what? We still won the game and that's all that matter. Quit complaining and enjoy the damn win.

The Cowboys fan base truly is the most spoiled in sports.

The good news is that we won this game in impressive fashion and STILL have plenty of opportunity to improve.

This win was about a statement more than anything. Check.

Now we have 11 days to spend getting better.

Cruz did drop some and allot of that had to do with being pressed all night. last year he ran routes uncontested. Not happening this year.

I find it comical at some of the things that people type on the CZ!! I agree can't we enjoy the win!!! Wow...

Through the course of the season, it's easy to look back at games and say if this would have happened or if this did not happen would the outcome of the game change. Fact is, it usually evens out in the end. Take the win for what it is.......the most valuable commodity in the NFL.......A WIN!

There were several things with the Cowboys that you can make an argument that we might have won by 20 if it was different. Who cares, it's the mighty W that counts.

A defense minus Jay Ratliff and Mike Jenkins with a rookie at corner held the super bowl champs to 17 points, 10 until garbage time, that's pretty good.

So what if Cruz suddenly got a case of the dropsies?

Happens to just about every WR at one time or another.

Big deal.

I didn't know Corey Webster was a 4th string corner. Oh wait, maybe if he was on our team?

We made many more mistakes than them and still beat them. We can clean a lot of those up and so can they.

This was not about us playing perfect and them messing up. This was about us taking it to them despite all of our screwups!

Which is what makes it even that more impressive IMO.

Garbage time? Hardly

Why do people keep saying that TD to Marty was in garbage time? Garbage time points are points scored when the game is pretty much decided and there is nothing to play for. They had everything to play for when they scored that TD and we had everything to play for when they scored it.

I'll accept that.. Just so tired of getting excited about our team and having them collapse. Maybe this year ......

Please, we beat the gmen at home with a C who didn't even know the offense.

Demarco had a great second half but this is what seperates Romo from most QB's IMO. He overcomes so much stuff like those penalties. I mean its 1st and 30 and my son is sitting beside me and saying "we will never get a 1st down" and I am thinking to myself - not that big of a deal and boom, Romo tells Austin exactly what he wants and TD!
