While I of course hope we win, we have a real opportunity to grow for the postseason even with a loss. Seemingly every game now has a playoff atmosphere (NY, Chi., Buff, and now NE). This reminds me of the 1992 regular season when teams began giving us our best shot and regular season games really meant something...

even if we lose, this will be a pressure packed battle that will prepare us for more important games down the road...

by the way, imo, we win the ballgame 37-20 (turnovers, turnovers): .

Goals for a season:

1. Win game for that week.
2. Win enough games to make the playoffs as a wild card. With 5 so far they are looking good.
3. Win the division. Only one game played with one win. Lot of work left in that department.
4. Win enough games to get a first round bye. Still very early, but 5 wins puts them in good position.
5. Win enough games to get home field through out. Still too early to tell.
6. Win playoff games.
7. Win Superbowl. I don't put just get to SB. If you get there you may as well go ahead and win it because you don't know for sure if you will get back.

Dallas can still achieve all of these goals whether they win or lose this Sunday. A win helps a little more, but wins in the 5 remaining division games and the game against Green Bay will be more important to achieving some good goals.

You make a good point. But I just thought I would mention it will be hard for them to achieve the first goal on the list if they lose this Sunday.

If we lose (and I do not think we will) Its not the end of the world ..... we will get better as the season goes on ....

If we win ....... then we will have to guard against the complicity that will follow.

We still have the returns of Henry, Glenn, and the arrival of Tank to make us a better team.

The Pats are old ...... very old defense ..... they have nothing to look forward too.
