A playoff spot can all be assured next week, with the exception of 1 game that will need to wait another week.
The mathematical elimination analysis and scenario. We need to knock off 10 teams. Not taking into account for tie breakers of Conference records, just straight up records.
Detroit, TB, Arizona are all out against us.
With a win over the Saints. We eliminate the Commanders and Packers. That is 5 teams out of the way. We would be 9-4, and the best they can do is 8-8
With wins of Detroit over Minn., Chic. Over Rams, GB over SF. Those 3 are gone. That is 8 teams. Those 3, the best they could do is 8-8.
Now here is something that could happen.
I know, people think Carolina needs to lose, just in case, home field game and all. But if the Panthers can beat the Eagles tonight, then the Commanders beat the Eagles next week, they are gone. Then the Eagles best would be 8-8. So 9 of 10 gone.
That leaves the next and last team in Atlanta. They will probably beat TB, so that leaves for us to beat them. With us at 9-4 [if w beat the Saints, and if Atlanta beat TB would be 7-6, we just need to win. Or simply said, just win our next 2 games.
