Last year the Cowboys played Washington in a driving rainstorm for most of their 33-19 win at FedEx Field. Today there is no threat of rain, but the wind could be a factor, putting even more of a premium on accuracy in the passing game.

Yes, very windy today here in the mid-Atlantic Weather Hell Hole. Too bad they couldn’t have played yesterday. It was perfect football weather. Today, it stinks...just like pretty much every day in this area— it is almost always either raining or visciously windy. Weather aside, the larger concern for the Cowboys: The Commanders are really, really good. Alex Smith is a huge upgrade over Cousins and their offense can score on anyone. Hate to say it but I see a Washington winning this one and maybe even doing so in commanding fashion if the Cowboys offense stalls. These Cowboys have yet to put together back-to-back quality efforts and something tells me they are underestimating the Commanders today. Looking forward to them proving me wrong.

Linehan and Garrett opened it up last weekend. They didn't need another reason to be conservative today, but there you go.

15-20 mph consistent winds where I am...about 40 miles outside of DC. Kicking game should certainly be affected at the minimum.
