Just a quick observation.

I know there's still time to play, but there are teams who seemingly win games they shouldn't (by shouldn't I mean they are outplayed for the majority of the game or don't seem "into" it) or have no business doing so (basically performing in crunch time): Philly, Pitt and NE

By contrast, it often seems, the Phillips' Cowboys rarely win when they shouldn't or rarely win in crunch time.

When referring to Pitt, I wasn't factoring in the ref's gifts.

Yikes.

Barring Pittsburgh, you've heard the term "any given Sunday" Well now your experiencing it.

IMO, those situations are very rare.

That Pittsburgh call was B.S. Miami clearly recovered the ball...

Whats your proof inspector? The video cameras, the witnesses, the player wiht his hand on the ball in the end zone. All specuation at best and not concrete what so ever defined by the "refs' Handbook of the NFL". Clearly no one with any eyes could see those players who, under scrutiny MIGHT be Steeler players that any of the refs saw.

Id challenge that in any US court. SO THERE.

Btw nice post. TD STEELERS!!!!!!

The farce of that play was the fact that they did not try to find out who recovered the ball.

Their is no way the HL could see that Ben had possesion when he crossed the goal line and yet he signaled TD. Is that guy employed by the Steelers?

That was just nuts. You have to determine possesion at the end of that play!

Im shocked at how many times the teams that have played the worst have won this year. A lot of strange/game changing calls and plays this year.

So many times this year I look at box scores and see the team with the most yards, 1st downs, and TOP loosing. Obviously turnovers are huge in these situations, but it seems like the more talented teams are not getting as many turnovers as they have in seasons past.

If I were a betting man, I might have to start betting all the underdogs to win straight up. Seems like you would come out on top this year.

Refs are frequently too fast to call TD. Remember the DeSean Jackson play a few years ago where they gifted Philly a possession after a braindead stupid play?

It's pretty simple. Special teams and the D never swing the momentum the other way.

this guy moved faster than that, there was no way he wasnt seeing TD at the end of that play and he didnt even wnat to talk about it. BEfore Miami recovered he ran over and signaled TD. No way no ref ever moved that fast before.

I agree about the bonehead play of DJ, but video would have clarified that so i can see if he signaled the STeeler game that ref flew out to signal TD and wouldnt even hear otherwise.

Mistake-prone egotistically run teams rarely get the benefit of the doubt. If you are not the Steelers.
