Sorry, but winning that game was a fluke. We all got excited and thought we would get off to a great start and then.................

Win only 2 of the next 7 and those 2 were against Tampa and Carolina. And we probably would have lost to Tampa if that fumble was not blown dead.

In our last 13 games, we have lost 9 of them. Other than the kickoff game, we have not beat a team with a winning record since November of last year, we are talking a calander year here.

We won only 1 game in December of last year..........against the 4-12 Bucs.

Folks, what this boils down to is that unless we are playing a scrub celler dweller, we lose.............thats the bottom line:mad:

Calling it a fluke implies that we were lucky to win it.

It wasn't a fluke. It shows with 8 months to prepare we can beat anyone.

I would not say it was a fluke, we actually played well. They did drop some passes and stuff, but we did play well and were prepared to play on opening day. It was a division game after all, so it doesn't matter who is/was the better team on that day.

I can't say the same for week 2 and on though. We got lucky to beat Tampa, got a couple nice breaks.

What is the fluke tho? It is Jason Garrett, he is not qualified to be a HC, much less a coordinator in the NFL. He is out-classed, out-witted and out-played (per a Survivor pun). He has no business being both the OC and HC, clearly he can't do both duties at the same time.

Jerry, do whatever it takes to bring in Sean, you have the money to do so! Save this franchise from 5 more years of mediocrity.

It was a fluke that we were aggressive on offense instead of playing for field goals and field position?

The Giants winning the 2nd game was fluky that's expected from a team as luck as them

Other than that, the games were pretty similar. The defense more less shut down Eli in both games and Romo was able to more a less torch their defense. the difference is Romo didn't take care of the ball in the 2nd game.

Thats the question right there...........why are we playing for field goals and field postion in every single game now?

Why are we not openning up the offense, being aggressive, running the no huddle in the 1st quarter?

Why did we decide after that kickoff game to play the first half of the season scared? If this is not an indictment of Garrett, I really dont know what is.

I don't know, either. We didn't play great in the opener, but we were aggressive. We attacked the defense. We didn't play for field goals. We didn't punt when we were in scoring range. We played like scoring touchdowns mattered. And it paid off.

Since then, however, we've rarely done that unless we're in desperation mode.
