The saints stroll into AT&T “Stayjum” Thursday night with an impressive 10 game winning streak. After losing their opener, the saints have played ten straight excellent games. Our Cowboys are on a 3 game win streak of their own, so obviously someone’s streak ends Thursday.

This led me to wonder, what is the longest winning streak in this century? So just since 2000. Here are the longest win streaks since 2000:
1. The 2003-2004 pats who won an amazing 21 straight over the 2003 and 2004 seasons, which included a SB win.
2. The 2010-11 packers won 19 straight which included parts of the 2010 SB winning season and part of the following 2011 season.
3. The 2007 pats team won 18 straight only to lose in the SB that year to the midgets.
4. The 2015 panthers won 14 straight in regular season.
5. The 2016 Cowboys won 11 straight.

So the saints come in with 10 straight. An interesting tidbit I found in the above streaks was that they were all broken while playing on the road. So the saints may see their streak end, or head onto the list above. Or the Cowboys win their 4th straight measuring themselves against the hottest team in the league right now.

One thing is certain- one streak ends while another continues.

I think this is going to be closer than people think, Cooper is going to give Apple and Lattimore fits and the Saints haven't faced a back like Zeke yet aside from Gurley.

Unless they tie! :p

The one guarantee is there will be no tie.
Sean Payton will not settle for a tie and Jerry Jones won't let Garrett settle either.
TNF will cut to Jerry on the phone in his suite... lol.
