Winning which would you rather have

I'll take making the playoffs every year....I'm looking for excellence and competitiveness. 9 years with no playoffs is not what the Cowboys are all about.

A 1 year wonder or lucky team that can't even manage to make the playoffs for 9 years in a row is not a championship team or anything for me to be proud of. For most of us, being a great team and failing to win the SB for years under Landry is part of what made us loyal to a team that never quit and finally found its way to win it all....

I'm proud of winning 5 SBs, but I'm equally proud to have made the playoffs 17 consequitive years, something no other team could do, and I remember being hurt the first year that streak was broken as much as when we lost SB V to Baltimore.
What if we would have won 0 championships in those 17 years. We'd be the Buffalo Bills.

Ummmmm Jimmy......do you sleep well at night? How was your childhood? Did you...Heck never mind? :D

Just ask Steeler fans from the 80's and 90's if they would rather have all the playoff season's or that super bowl win in 95 they would take the super bowl

..........and there you have it.

PLEASE!! No question, you take the Super Bowl- ask a Pittsburgh fan how it feels to be good every year for the most part since 1992 but win nothing.

That's because your not old enough to remember losing Super Bowls. When you lose a Super Bowl it's feels like you lost every game of the season 100-0.

Other than the death of a grandparent there has never been a worse feeling for me than losing a Super Bowl. It just lingers and never really goes away- then you see those nfl films superbowl memories every january and it just brings it right back.
