Anyone else besides me looking forward to watching the Blackhawks v Redwings @ Wrigley?

Should be a great game with all the skill players involved, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Hossa, Toews, Kane, Campbell.... Screw the bowl games, this is the New Years day event to watch.

I really hope they get a Ovechkin/Semin/Backstrom vs Crosby/Malkin matchup soon.

How cool would that be if they had the game on the Mall in DC. The logistics would be considerable, but the event would be truly unforgettable IMO.

There are all kinds of possibilities with this. Imagine a packed 100,000+ crowd at the Big House in Ann Arbor, or a game at Fenway or New Yankee Stadium. Hell, they could probably even rig up the ice to work at the new Texas Stadium seeing as how we dont look like winning a playoff game anytime soon.
