I think the guy has a chance to develop into a decent backup role. If we are really lucky, he may develop into a starter for us one day but I agree that he's not a guy we drafted with the intent to be the replacement for Gurode any time soon. I understand that guys develop but the reality is that this was a 5th year Senior who was never named the starter at Wisconsin.

Yep, every one of those guys and anybody else who gets waived who we think might be a better fit. He's a 7th round rookie trying to make a Pro team. He's not a 1st day pick or a guy who's been to a couple of NFL camps with some playing experience. He will be doing well to make a team IMO.

UDFA may not be as different from 3rd from last, as you seem to be proposing.

Nagy has his work cut out for him, I wish him the best, but he's going to have to show something in camp to make the team.

I'm thinking Nagy will at least make the PS. He lost his job as a starter due to a moped accident. The fact he didn't make it back as a starter is a negative though.

Who was he suppose to beat out? The starters were playing so well (best OL in the country) coaches aren't going to screw up the chemistry if they're smart.
