Wish I could be on the Cowboy plane heading off to Oxnard

I never played football cause I wasn't big enough nor athletic enough. But as a dedicated Dallas Cowboy fan, it's days like today when I desperately wish I could take the place of one of our rookie draft picks and be on that plane heading to Oxnard.

I'd be pinching myself cause I'd be so excited to be on that plane with so many players I've heard/read about. Realize most of these young guys worked out in the OTAs/minicamp and so know the vets--including those rather well known. I don't think I could quietly sit in my seat; I'd be moving up and down the aisle looking at those guys who are know my teammates & wondering what they think of me, can I help them win the SB which everyone expects us to do, what awaits me on the playing fields in Oxnard, & what's my life going to be like now that I'm an NFL player and a member of maybe the highest profile team in the NFL--our Dallas Cowboys.

If it makes you feel any better, I got a broken nose and hurt my knee playing football (which in turn made me quit surfing, major bummer). Perhaps fate was kinder to you than you think in that regard.

I wish somebody blogged about their daily routine (or have somebody else do it). I emailed Burnett and mentioned how much I enjoyed his daily routine blogs. I hope somebody on this years team gives us alot of info. I mean more than Hardknocks.
