Gregory Zuerlein Is not the kicker we need to get us to a Super Bowl. Guy even flubbed a kickoff the other day. One thing is for sure, his inaccuracy could very well cost us in the playoffs and beyond.

Greg’s been money on CLUTCH kicks we absolutely had to have this season.

Only exception was the 52-yarder with about 2:30 left in New England, but he redeemed himself later in that game with the FG that forced OT.

Yes he's too erratic. You can't rely on him to make a damn extra point.

But he's got a big leg that could bail you out in a playoff game. If you absolutely have to make a 62 yard FG to advance he is capable of it. Most kickers aren't.

If we have to rely on our kicker we’re going to be in trouble in the playoffs. When we get in the redzone we need to score TDs. If we end up having to go to Green Bay the weather conditions may not be the best for kicking FGs. Zuerlein has been clutch on must make field goals. He’s had issues on PAT’s and chip shots. When we get down close we need to score TDs.

Greg is 28-33 on FG this year (85%)... and 34-39 on PATs (87%)

Green Bay’s Mason Crosby is 21-30 on FG (70%)... and 44-45 on PATs (98%)

Tampa Bay’s Ryan Succop is 21-25 on FG (84%)... and 49-52 on PATs (94%)

Arizona’s Matt Prater is 23-30 on FG (77%)... and 43-45 on PATs (96%)

The Rams’ Matt Gay is 31-32 on FG (97%)... and 43-44 on PATs (98%)

Philly’s Jake Elliott is 26-29 on FG (90%)... and 40-40 on PATs (100%)

In conclusion, Greg’s been middle-of-the-pack on FG accuracy and awful on PAT accuracy. He was 8-8 on PATs vs Washington, so hopefully he’s turned a corner there.

No need to worry

Every team can't have Justin Tucker

Zuerlein has made his last 9 in a row and hasn't missed a FG since Nov 25th.

He better not miss a PAT in the playoff though

He’s experienced and he’s been on the big stage. I think he will be fine
o_O That Big Stage w/8 seconds left in the game & his team down 13–3, he missed a 48-yard field goal that would’ve set up his team for a desperation attempt to tie or win the game w/an ensuing onside kick recovery & a Hail Mary pass. The Rams lost 13–3.

His glory days are long gone. He sux. End of story.

Sure hope one of his missed XP does not come back and bite us in the arse. Too late to do anything about it. So its water under the bridge at this point.

Give me a kicker that you would rather have kicking a game winning field goal at Lambeau field that is currently a free agent?
We had kicker Lirim Hajrullahu, but Jerry caved in to Bones Fassel, as did Mike McCarthy.

Lirim Hajrullahu is now with Carolina.

So far this season, Lirim Hajrullahu is 5 for 5 on extra points, 2 for 2 on FGs and 10 for 10 with all of his kick offs ending up in the endzone and non-returnable. He's batting 100% on all 3 phases.

This is the kicker the Cowboys should have kept.

QUESTION: If the Panthers only have Lirim Hajrullahu signed through the end of this season, and the Carolina Panthers will not be making the playoffs (thus their season will end after next week's last game of the season), can the Cowboys go sign Lirim Hajrullahu for the postseason playoffs?

When you consistently convert in the red zone like we did last Sunday, none of that even matters.

Greg is a serviceable kicker, but putting a game on his shoulders ain't it.

You can wish in one hand, poop in the other and see which one fills up first.

It's greg for now. If there was a better option I'm sure they would have brought him in.

Just like any other position, there's only so many great ones...

Organization was too chicken to make the move, which is strange considering they once dumped Bailey for Maher.
