I really like how Crayton has developed. I remember an analyst saying he was the most developed player he had ever seen in one year. Seems like we're getting good receivers cheap, hopefully that doesnt catch up with us. We have an explosive offense right now, hope we can keep that.

Draft a receiver in the 1st next year.

I love me some Crayton. I loved the high-step into the endzone as well.

It was more like a side-step, high-step balance beam skip into the endzone :)

I always thought and still think he has Hines Ward potential. I know thats say a lot, considering Hines Ward is one of the better players in the game, but with his hands, his size, speed and the way he runs, all reminds me of Ward. Not sure if he can block or has the heart of Ward though.

Hmm... True! He definitely made the defender look like he failed his dismount.

Crayton is a RFA at the end of this season too. I imagine we'll lock him up longterm. If we wait another year and merely match any offers, then he has another big year next year and his market value as an UFA will be outrageous at that point.

Personally, I think TG may be done. I think TO can still play another year or two after this one and Crayton is young of course. Hurd and the plethora of other young guys we have are really nice but I'd really like to add a shorter speed guy in there. I really like Steve Smith of USC or Ted Ginn (esp given his abilities as a KR/PR). Breaston is okay too but I don't think he'll ever be an effective WR like S Green. Breaston is a better KR/PR than Green though.
I guess Devin Hester has proven the value of using a pick solely on a guy who can return it.

I love Crayton. He has been the unheralded key to sustaining a LOT of drives this year. His hands are crazy good. Combined with Witten, they are GREAT 3rd down options.
I sure wish we hadn't GIVEN away Joey Galloway. We could've gotten Key without throwing in Galloway.
If TG has to call it a career, I think we may consider a WR in the first.
But I imagine OT Jake Long will be high on our board also. At this point, I'm higher on Colombo than I am Flo. Flo looks decrepid and it hurts me to watch him squat down into his stance. Looking more and more like we won't target a QB high in round 1.

Why go for a shorter speed guy? I would wrather have taller speed guy (ie. Randy Moss, Alvin Harper). It's easier to throw the long ball to the taller guys.

I can't see us taking a WR in the 1st round. With the play of our OL and the age of Furgeson at DT, we need help there more. We need to draft an OL in round 1 and DT in round 2.

It would be funny if Glenn retired, and we got Randy Moss on the cheap. Not going to happen though.

Most likely I think they'll groom Crayton and Hurd, and perhaps try to draft a replacement for owens for the future. I wish we had traded for Javon Walker.

Crayton seems to catch everything thrown his way. Doesn't he have so really big hands or somehting? I loved Hurd Sunday coming back to block on one of Crayton's catches. That catch Hurd made over the middle was pretty killer as well.

wow so we're writing off glenn after he sits out one game? yeesh.

No one wants to write Glenn off....it's just the nature of his injury. I'm not sure he'll be able to play free from pain again. For this season it'll be how much pain he can handle. And then depending on how that plays out it will determine offseason actions I guess.
