...going on in this forum I just wanted to remind everyone who had a chance of watching the post game press conference held by BP what tone he took towards this game.
He played down the excitement almost to the point you would have thought the team lost the game.
Some of his comments were so terse and bland I actually broke out laughing.
I think the point is that after (5) games the Cowboys have proven they have talent, but also we have shown that we have execution problems.
We still have holes in our roster where the team could use an upgrade in talent, but which team in the NFL doesn't?
It seems for us a matter of being able to eliminate the mistakes. As Bledsoe said in the news conference, "a matter of getting out of our own way" with the errors.
Lest everyone forget, Larry Allen was easily one who could be singled out again in the first quarter who drove us out of another TD with back to back errors with an illegal block to the back and a holding penalty.
Bledsoe made mention in his portion of the press conference that if there was any chance for Dallas to head into the Giants game under the radar that's all going to be gone with this win today. Expect the Giants to come out to play us as if we were a real threat for the title of the NFC East.
The real question is whether we are consistent enough to hold the banner as legitimate contenders.
