....Any way one of the 1st round QBs slips to us at 18....or slips close enough for a trade up scenario??

Cpep to Miami
Brees to NO

Just wondering amid all this other confusion...

Kev

and Kitna to Detroit

that leaves Oak, NYJ, MAYBE Ari but i expect them to draft V.Davis from maryland.

So VY to Oak,
NYJ takes Cut/lienart

the other will probably be there for pick 18

Don't forget that it looks like the Jets by trade for Ramsey too so another QB slips. I could see Young and Cutler slip big time!

Titans will take Leinart with Chow as their O-Coordinator.

ROUND ONE
1. Houston

2. New Orleans
3. Tennessee
4. N.Y. Jets

5. Green Bay
6. San Francisco
7. Oakland
8. Buffalo

9. Detroit
10. Arizona
11. St. Louis
12. Cleveland
13. Baltimore
14. Philadelphia
15. Atlanta
16. Miami
17. Minnesota
18. Dallas

All teams in bold need to address the QB situation, Det and Ari have veterans but could draft a young QB for development.....I'm willing to bet that all 3 of the big name QB's will be long gone by the time we pick. Don't forget Minnesota needs one now that they traded culpepper today and they are one spot ahead of us. Also with NO getting Brees that opens the door for a team to trade up.

I disagree on Houston and Buffalo. Both QBs are still young and need time to develop with better talent around them.

Also, with Detroit signing Kitna, I think that takes them out of the running, as well.

But I do agree that there's no way one of the Big Three drops to us.

Houston is likely taking Bush, especially if the believe Carr can still develop into a star.

I'm willing to bet that Buffalo doesn't pass up on vince young or matt leinart if one of them are there at #8, they are trying to distance themselves from the donahoe era as much as possible...so I don't believe JP Lose-man is safe, especially since Donahoe traded all those picks to dallas to begin with to get him and he's been nothing but a colossal bust so far.

Even if you take 3 or 4 teams out of the list I bolded, there's still no chance Dallas will get one of the 'big three' unless they trade up...which they aren't going to do.

I know this, and I agreed with you in my earlier post.
