For the first time in two years, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will have the luxury of an offseason, and he intends to make the most of it.
Two years ago, Romo underwent a procedure to remove a cyst on his back and missed the offseason program, OTAs and mini-camp as a result. Last year, he spent the offseason recovering from surgery to repair a herniated disk, suffered in the Week 16 comeback win over the Commanders, the last action he’d see in the 2013 season--and, again, he was held out of the offseason program, OTAs and mini-camp.

Now healthy once again, perhaps motivated by the memory of those offseasons when he couldn’t get on the field if he wanted, Romo wasted no time in getting to work in 2015. He started working out at Valley Ranch a couple weeks ago--more than a month before the team’s offseason program begins officially on April 20.

You know I didn't get OP's point with the first question mark, with the second it started to sink in, the third won me over and the fourth got me angry. Why isn't that fat backwards hat wearing choke artist throwing footballs to Dez? Manning is doing it right now. Restructuring him was such a mistake. Jerry is killing this franchise.

Showing up early? isn't that a union violation?

I never question #9's work ethic or competitive spirit. I'm a huge Romo fan but will call it like it is if he or any player messes up. That said...having a social life is not indicative of failing to take your craft seriously. Russell Wilson is everywhere as well. So are Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and others.
