With all the ups and downs in this organization, what brings you back every season?

Ups: We have a good core of young players on this team that have the potential to really do something special. We have a new coach and he's assembled coaches who aren't his buddies, they're speaking of being aggressive and physical! What Cowboys fan wouldn't like to see us be more aggressive and physical??

Downs: Jerry is still here and he's not going anywhere. We continue to hold up signings, and end up paying more in the end. We lack discipline, but maybe these new coaches instill something we've been needing for years! Fear of the unknown with this new defense and offense. Will our franchise QB return without injuries???

So I ask you, and trust there's so much more, but I HAVE to let you get your thoughts in. What brings you back every season as a Cowboys fan??? Maybe it's the traditions, you've been a fan since you were 10 years old etc etc!! Please give your thoughts on what brings you back ole Cowboys Faithfuls!!!

Funny, all this hate and I will admit. I'm somewhat of a Jerral Wayne fan. He's not perfect. But he's got some redeeming qualities.

I refuse to bash an 80 plus year old who's still doing a decent job keeping the team relevant.

Do you want to be relevant or a champion ?

I have the curse of being a diehard Cowboys fan. I can't shake it, so I deal with it the best I can.

It is our team.
Cowboys fans used to be called bandwagon fans.
I think the guys who have been around for the good and the long stretch of bad would have gotten off this wagon and found another.

If you are a long time fan of the team. Chances are you will not quit watching. If you do, you probably just quit watching NFL all together.

Now maybe if you just were tired of the team being under the Jones Boys....and for some reason you happen to move to a new town that has an NFL franchise...maybe..MAYBE you start following that team and going to a game on occasion..

But most fans still with their teams through the good and bad.

Lions fans, Saint Fans, Browns fans each team has had some success but for the most part it has been bad more than not over the last twenty years

But they stick with their team. Even the browns fans who had the owner sneak out at night to take the team somewhere else and it was not because there were no fans, the dog pound has it's occupants.
