Loyalty
Boredom.
I love the team, organization no matter what , I am a life long fan, through thick and thin, good and badUps: We have a good core of young players on this team that have the potential to really do something special. We have a new coach and he's assembled coaches who aren't his buddies, they're speaking of being aggressive and physical! What Cowboys fan wouldn't like to see us be more aggressive and physical??
Downs: Jerry is still here and he's not going anywhere. We continue to hold up signings, and end up paying more in the end. We lack discipline, but maybe these new coaches instill something we've been needing for years! Fear of the unknown with this new defense and offense. Will our franchise QB return without injuries???
So I ask you, and trust there's so much more, but I HAVE to let you get your thoughts in. What brings you back every season as a Cowboys fan??? Maybe it's the traditions, you've been a fan since you were 10 years old etc etc!! Please give your thoughts on what brings you back ole Cowboys Faithfuls!!!
First of all I appreciate your posts. It's not an either or . . . false dilemma.
I don't get caught up in paradigms and/or parroting other people's thoughts.
This.I’ve loved the Cowboys and the NFL since childhood.
It’s that simple.

Yes they have and Jerry is lucky he bought the most indestructible sports brand in the world because God knows he's try to run in the ground for 30 years.I remain a Cowboys fan because it was my first favorite team starting as a six year old when my dad took me to my first Cowboys game at the Cotton Bowl. Been hooked ever since.
That was 25 years before Jerry Jones bought the team or any Cowboys fan had ever even heard of Jerry Jones. The Cowboys are and always have been bigger than the Jones family.
I agree, just ol school, a tiger doesnt change his srtipes. As much as it hurts, im still a fan. In the NFL it change quicklyI'm just a fan. Probably always will be.
It's my team.
I just don't understand the thought process of just being relevant.
Yes sir same here this is my 52nd season, I was that 5 year old kid in 1973 that saw Tom Landry wearing his hat on the side lines.Dallas is my team always was always will be,The great Roger Stauback was playing back then .Go Cowboys it is time to win number 6.I'm just a fan. Probably always will be.
It's my team.
Great questionSince birth. My fandom is bigger than an idiotic owner, his even dumber son, and overpaid divas...even 3 decades of failure. Hopefully they will all be history soon enough and I can see one more Super Bowl before I kick.
Like I said earlier I love the Dallas Cowboys always will, but you must admit , that this Great organization is just not run correctly. Decisions on contracts are always late to get done which costs this team more money, look at Parsons right now he should have already been signed. I just want this team to be run more efficiently, that is what true fans want to see.I will say that things seem to be getting better and if this continues I will congratulate Ol Jerry and Son for a job well done. GO COWBOYS.100 percent.
Again, they need a Jerry Jones zone.
