With all the ups and downs in this organization, what brings you back every season?

1. Too old and too tired to change teams. I can't just start cheering for a team, being a Cowboys fan just happened, maybe because there was only one television channel where I grew up, they carried the Cowboys so that's who I saw. Sort of grew into a Dallas fan.
2. If by some miracle the Cowboys win another SB (or two or more) while I'm still alive and cognitively able to understand that it will be so sweet to get back at other teams' fans who make fun of my Cowboys.
3. It could be worse, when have the Jags won a SB? Vikings? Bills? How many SBs do the Jets have, and how long since that happened? (55 years). Saints have one SB win, took them 42 years to do that even.
Makes Dallas' 30 years since a SB win look great by comparison, I can take solace in the knowledge that only 2 teams have more SBs than Dallas, and one of them, Pittsburgh, has been in the league far, far longer. I'm just grateful for the 5 wins.

Yep, just waiting for the day when Jerry is no longer running the team, not saying I expect Stephen to be any better or perhaps to sell the team, but at least the end of Jerry will be a change....

The jones boys are just too dumb to get it done ! lol they will always screw it up.

Just now stephen says waiting to sign micah is ok lol, nothing wrong with that !
We may pay 50 mil more than we would have if they got it done earlier, but they think
that is ok !

They also draft guys like taco, gregory, bossman fat lol etc. They dont use FA well at all.
Fish says they dont use all the tools in the toolbox, for roster building, and that is true,
but they think it is ok ! lol They are a joke.

That's probably the sad truth. I guess I'll continue to watch the 90's Super Bowls on VHS, but those games are starting to lose their nostalgia factor. Or maybe it's the embarrassing gap between then and today.

Try watching the season games and playoff games for 91,92,93 they are more fun than the SB's.
 
What brings me back is the love of the NFL but guys like Roger Goodfella and Jones are ruining things. From banning player celebrations to now talking 18 game schedules to flying teams clear an across the world to play a 3 hr game .

14 games , this physical demanding sport never should have exceeded . And stop adding playoff teams pretty soon the Jones rule will be any team with 9 wins automatically gets an invite to get whacked come Jan on the road in lovely Buffalo or Detroit . Leave the gun take the cannolis ….

My first name is Dallas is probably the biggest reason. I picked the Boys to be my team for that reason when I was old enough to turn the TV on.
Jerruh and his family of nuts have made that decision a rather challenging one for the last 29 years, but I am too old to change teams... or my name....
 
After 47 years of watching every game I could , I kinda tapped out last year. I think I saw maybe 6 games, The Greenbay playoff loss collapse with a stacked roster started the apathy. No matter what this team does in regular season it just doesn’t matter in the end, I’ll be back when Dak and Jerry are gone. I’m here on the forums out of habit. I still root for them but watching the games is a big waste of time, It just stopped being important to me,
