Stop getting your hopes up. We still have the same front office that isn't doing anything different. This team is only getting worse. For sure it won't be good enough.

You first. Suggest a post-1995 season when the front office 'attacked free agency with a force not seen in years'. Also, add a particular year during that range that aligns with your definition of an 'impressive draft'.

I already considered that probability in my record.
With him playing all games our record would be 4-13.

Those extra wins we are able to quench out without him come from our backup QB.

We are two weeks away from the start of FA. Nothing so far has indicated that we have any intention of participating again this year.

Nothing is stoping GM Jethro to extend Parsons. Negotiations have not even started, even with Micah asking for them.

Nothing is stoping GM Jethro from restructuring Dak's contract.

Not only did the Eagles aggressively attack FA last year, they have more cap space available this year.

We have a FO problem, first and foremost.

What's wrong with the rest of you?

If we attack it, which is what the OP suggested, then we should be able to make a significant move. There are some strengths on this team. I really think the right choices in FA at DT, OL and one other spot with a strong draft could turn this team into a legit contender.

WR3 Dotson was a trade before the trade deadline.
DB MItchell Draft
DB DeJean Draft

We could probably draft 2 starters maybe 3

Right now our DTs under contract are
Mazi Smith and Justin Rogers
Our LBs are
Damone Clark Nick Vigil Marist Liufau Buddy Johnson and Overshown with his secon injury a pretty serious one in as many seasons.

Our DEs are
Tyrus Wheat Marshawn Kneeland and Parsons

The right side of our OL is in flux
Martin retired Hoffman played pretty well and Steele struggled

Our CBs are
Bland with Diggs Carson and butler all on IR Diggs with his second knee injury.

Our RBs are
Vaughn and Luepke

We probably need 4 or more starters in addition to the 2 draft picks to make a push. I don't see it happening.

The only starter we've acquired that produced in recent memory was Amari Cooper and we gave up a first for him.
