Thouroughly enjoyed it. I am sure Jerry wouldn't mind the extra media coverage.

Why? Miss the tone deaf singing of guys who won't even make the team?

Why would you wanna bring that crap back. Yes, it gave us a inside view but I'd much rather have our team concentrate and focus on the season ahead without all that media crap recording and following them around all day. There's enough media around the ranch without added noise..

I thoroughly enjoyed Hard Knocks too, but with TO on the team now, it would really be insane. I can just see them editing the footage the make it look like things are worse than they really are.

Hard Knocks did have some funny moments. Some guy pooping on himself and Randall Williams getting caught looking at that photo of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders comes to mind. It's just that the team was so lousy during that era. It sort of left a bad taste in my mouth.

I think what you'll see this year is actual training camp coverage that they do on NFL Network. They prolly won't do the Inside Training Camp show which was a knock off of "Hard Knocks." But the NFLN has shown live training camp practices of some teams the past couple years. Dallas was never shown, but Wade may let them in this year.

By all means, let's go back to the pathetic sideshow this team was before Bill showed up.

Hooray insider access.

Remember the one on Chad Hutchinson? Is that guy still trying to play QB?

I personally liked the tight rein Parcells kept on the media. It's better than everyone in the league knowing exactly what our plans were.

That show was interesting. We saw great stuff like Jerry forcing Goodrich down the team's throat when he should have been cut, Coslet being clueless and wanting to cut players b/c they came from a certain college, and Avezzano being the only coach who would stand up to Jerry at all.

Jerry forcing Goodrich? I thought it was Zim. Cuz I remember him distinctly saying, "There's just something about this kid" And then they cut Pat Dennis who I thought played better IIRC.

I'd like NFL Films access that they get with the other teams, like more action on the sidelines and seeing team in locker room after the games.

Players come to the Cowboys/want to come to the Cowboys because we already get loads of coverage as it is...(shoot, we are AMERICA's team baby!) I personally loved "Hard Knocks", but I don't think that our players should get bigger heads than they already have. Combine the ego players get from actually making it to the NFL, with the coverage the cowboys get WITH "hard knocks", players could lose focus.

God, I remember that IDIOT Campo on stage in front of Cowboys fans talking about how thier "Vegas odds" were great to win the Supa Bowl.... and they proceeded to have a 5-11 season. If we win a Super Bowl this year, then I won't care if we go 5-11, have as many "hard knocks" series as you want after that, I won't care I would be so elated

I agree. Dallas will have a boad load of media at camp as always no need to add to it with HBO turning camp into a 3 ring circus. This team has way too much to prove and a lot of work ahead of them I think their focus needs to be on camp and what they need to do to improve.

I would pay cold hard cash for a copy of those Hard Knocks shows, if anyone has them.

But like SP said, please just say no to Hard Knocks. Once is enough. I don't think I could take seeing Wade wearing a wet suit or Alan Ball riding a steer.:
