Here is a list of the Cowboys’ UFA:

Kenyon Coleman
Marcus Coleman
Marc Colombo
Andre Gurode
Al Singleton

The RFA:
Patrick Crayton
Ryan Fowler
Junior Glymph
Al Johnson
Nathan Jones
Mat McBriar
Brett Pierce
Jacques Reeves

My questions are:

Out of the UFA, is there anyone you might considering Tagging, if a deal is not work out before March 1st?

Besides McBrair and Crayton,, who else would Tender at a high rate?

For me, I might consider tagging either Colombo or Gurode, if a deal is not worked out,, but I would have to think real hard about it.

I really like Glymph, but I am not sure how much we can tender him for, if at all. I hope that a deal is worked out and he is extended before FA starts, other than that.. I don’t see any real big loss with the other players.

What about you?

I think it's a pretty safe bet that we won't be seeing a franchise tag coming from the Cowboys.

I don't think so either, unless, the team gets some interest in Al Johnson and fear they might lose him quick in the process,, then I could see a Tag for andre, just to make sure we don't lose both our centers at one time. Long shot for sure.. but I wouldn't dismiss it totally.

The tag for OL is about $9 million. No way they're spending that on Johnson or Gurode.

When is the last time the Cowboys used the franchise tag? No one will be tag this season.

Matt Mcbriar has already been offered a tendered offer as a RFA. Crayton will get one soon once they figure out his market value and sign a new coach.

The only UFA I see coming back will be Columbo and Gurode. Gurode has really improved and there is not a better center in free agency. Columbo really performed well and they can sign him to a long term contract without breaking the bank.
