With how poorly we played as a team last night do you really think any other QB wins that game last night?

The idea that Dak is solely to blame for last night or whatever is so stupid.

It's not about defending Dak. It's about understanding that the systems in place make it impossible for a QB to succeed. Like the idea that Dak and Brock Purdy switch and the Cowboys win that game is ridiculous.
But that very system worked last week or does it only work vrs teams starting 'New'.
It IS about defending Dak, making up spurious arguments that aren't even being voiced.....Purdy wouldn't have won the game for us, but I bet the score wouldn't have been one sided.

I am going to hope that this isnt a defense of McCarthy.

Any fan on here that comes and defends McCarthy or Dak is being foolish. They both are mediocre.
Nope pointing out others faulty logic. Never like the MM hiere but good coaches arent likely to work for Jerry if thry want to win.

It's like you guys didn't watch Purdy.

Yes, if you switch QBs, there's a good chance Purdy wins for us. Actually not sure how anyone can see it any other way.
The Niners have a very smart bus driver. Fits them great. Hes insulated by elite talent.

Maybe if you bring the Shanny system with him he might not with McCarthy and his archaic offense.

What system worked last week? The Cowboys offense? It has been terrible all year, last night was just the first real test of what the offense wants to be because it wasn't a blowout.

Um, you literally just voiced it. And yes, others have said that. You could have Darnold playing against Mahomes last night and the results would have been very similar.

The mistake many fans will make is thinking that Dak is holding McCarthy back.

He's not. McCarthy sucks. If Jerry decides to move on from Dak, if he allows McCarthy to stay however, that's a really stupid decision.
Yup.
When your NFL onfield success triangle depends on the GM, HC and QB1 all performing their jobs at a high level...
Well...
Lets just say we're batting 0 for 3.

Man, once again, it's like you didn't watch him. Last night we saw the very definition of "throwing the receiver open". Purdy would take this O and make it work, guaranteed. How are so many underrating his talent?

Dak is just the scapegoat for those problems just like Romo was. Dak is the easiest person for everyone to blame and while he isn't good there a bigger issues with this team. There is plenty of blame to go around and it doesn't stop at number 4.

I think you win this game with at least 10 other current NFL QBs yesterday. Not to mention all the others who dont play anymore.

Players quit yesterday. And they quit because we have nobody at QB. We already lost Cooper because of that miserable QB.

Hard to say as long as they have Purdy, but it would've been a competitive game at the very least w/ a better QB.

You can't differentiate between Dak and the Offense.
The TCO should suit Dak, as the high/low approach was designed to help Dak with his problem reading both sides of a field on his progression. The Curls were criticised, but I always thought it was helpful for Dak who tends to under throw a moving target.
What system does suit Dak (other than playing inferior defenses on a weekly basis).

Sure I can. I'm doing it right now.

Any offense that is designed to be conservative by nature is bad for every single quarterback. It's true in Dallas, it would be true in Kansas City and everywhere else.

The idea that Dak can read both sides of the field is still a comically made up falsehood, especially because nobody can give any context to it. The only goal of this offense is reducing turnovers, but it's totally stupid, because it puts you in way more disadvantaged positions on purpose. The offense last year is exactly what they should be doing.

In your opinion Dak has no weaknesses.
A conservative offense is based on the QB's capabilities, you're not expecting Mahomes to play down to Dak's level? In any world Mahomes would be able to extend the play .....another of Dak's limitations, which reduces the complexity of the design.

Um, no. I never said he has no weaknesses.

But your argument is nonsensical, and not based on anything tangible.
