You know, the finger rubbing and the bad press doesn't bother me in the least. The fact that he looks so small and he likes to run is what kills me about him. Combine that with the way he plays the game right now, and I don't see how he's going to survive in Cleveland, especially with Shanahan calling the shots.

I don't doubt that either. The problem is his maturity and intelligence IMO, not his physical skill.

I agree on the maturity thing.
The intelligence question is not an issue. I think he gets that due his silliness off the field and that look he has sometimes on his face. lol
The analysts think his ability to read defenses actually is one thing that sets him apart. He's supposedly a fairly smart kid, in reality.
I still say "buyer beware"

Intelligence and maturity go hand in hand IMO. A lack of maturity makes some do stupid things :)
He seems like he can read defenses but I would not want that headache on my team leading them.

Marcus Mariota: Please no. Cleveland is where QB go to rot. lol
Boy I tell ya I agree with you 5 years ago but maybe not so much today. They are starting to accumulate some talen ton both sides of the ball. Even mediocre Bryan Hoyer managed a couple more wins than losses in games he started.

If I'm Mariota, I sure would rather go to Cleveland than the Jets or Bucs (although the Bucs do have Mike Evans so they wouldn't be as bad as the Jets).

i read this from a Brown fan perspective

"When I think back to the 2014 draft it gives me cold sweats. I honestly thought that when they announced they were trading up to #8 they were taking Odell Beckham Jr. They took a guy who's barely seeing the field playing behind UDFs w/ the #1 guy out. Pick wasted. Then when they traded up to #22 I honestly thought it was going to be for Bridgewater. Nope. It was for the mental/physical midget. So... Instead of going into 2015 w/ a legit franchise QB in Bridgewater and 2 #1 WR's in Beckham and Gordon we have... drum roll please... Justin Gilbert! #5 on the CB depth chart and Johnny Flunkball!!!! Proving once and for all that God in fact does hate Cleveland."

Ouch!!

No idea why so many are high on Mariota and Winston. Both are going to be terrible in the NFL.

Why should they be loyal to mediocrity? The Cardinals are going to start Logan Thomas this Sunday. Why aren't they loyal to Lindley?

LOL...must not have looked very good.

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Logan Thomas Experiment lasted one practice.

The Arizona Cardinals have decided to start third-year quarterback Ryan Lindley for a second straight week in place of the rookie from Virginia Tech, according to sources within the organization.

Before starting Manziel the Browns had a shot at the playoffs. Not sure why they decided to start Manziel in this spot. Hoyer isn't anything special but he's ran the offense effectively all year. They should have kept with him this year and then waited till next year to give Manziel a shot. Now their season fell of the rails because they decided to go with a rookie QB during a critical part of the year.

Watching Manziel in college he was never going to be a great pro. A lot of the throws he made in college aren't that open in the NFL and there aren't a lot of WRs as good as Evans is.

And the DL and LB's hit with a purpose...
