With Lawrence suspended, we're more likely to take Bosa

There are rumors that Elliot uses the same drugs people suggest Bosa did. http://www.musiccitymiracles.com/20...teams-drug-concerns-joey-bosa-ezekiel-elliott

Notice that people seem to be treating Bosa (and others who failed one drug test) differently than they did Gregory. I think there's something behind that. If we take every kid who has tried weed off your board, you're not going to have a lot to pick from. I think it's making a call on the kid and his situation, rather than using a blanket, black and white approach.

It's past time for the NFL to turn the corner on marijuana use and begin focusing on more serious off the field issues.

I can read between the lines. Same thing with nkemdiche. elliot just has rumors about him. I don't care for rumors.

Read between the lines? It sounds like you're moving the goalposts. The same drug rumors that apply to Bosa apply to Zeke.

We don't know why Bosa was suspended, but NFL teams do. We'll see how what they think about it by where they draft him.

I think it's time the world moves past marijuana use - and I agree with you.

The good thing (from a fan perspective) is that players know when they're going to be tested, unless they're in the drug program and get randoms. So you really only need to worry about the guys so dependant on it that they can't stop even when they know a test is coming.

Until that time, stay off the pot, or don't try it when you're subject to random drug testing.

Nooooooooooooooooo

Here is something to scare you all: with Lawrence's failed drug test, Gregory's failed test, don't you think the team would be more wary of Bosa's rumored drug usage?

And that Buckner, with his size, versatility, and clean rap sheet may be more likely?!

Lawrence failed for amphetamines, so he's not a good example. The league had issues with Gregory, which is why he dropped. If the league does the same with Bosa, it should be a red flag. But it's just not logical to take every kid who has tried weed off of your board. There won't be many prospects left to draft.

We don't know what happened with Bosa at OSU. NFL teams do. I don't think it does us much good to speculate. And agian, Bosa never failed a drug test and OSU never once suggested they suspended him for drugs. Everything else is speculation from un-named sources.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Please...NO!

Not sure this is accurate. Could be. We've heard rumblings about this two or three weeks ago. I know it seems that Bosa would be the obvious pick if this were true. I really don't think this would "force" our hand. He is the best DE available....it's only natural if we do take him.

However, I hope we wouldn't feel forced into any position. We did this in 1998 with the Randy Moss fiasco. We had had so many issues with Irvin and other malcontents, that we felt "forced" to take another player.

I would hope we would simply play our board here....no matter what happens with Tank.

I agree. You don't alter your draft plans to cover a 4 game stretch. Stick to your board/process.

Lawrence may have just got pinched for failing a drug test.

Oh boy.

Easy on the "with Lawrence Suspended" title. Maybe it would be smart to wait instead of jumping the gun and assuming based of some low level chat site.

If we are only worried about the first four games of the season, Bosa won't help much anyways. DE's usually take awhile to develop. These two suspensions should absolutely not affect our draft plans.

Until they do it a second time and are gone for a year.

I don't have a lot of money, but I would be willing to bet that this will not be Gregory's first suspension in the NFL. DLaw, who knows.

Take Zeke
Run the ball 60 times a game
Defense never has to take the field
Problem solved!
