If we cant move the ball to well with him in....or if he drops a ton of balls or cant get open ect

i honestly believe we will get a new WR before the season starts....1 injury to Roy, will show we cant do ****

Miles is my fav WR so far though, so i am not hoping or wishing he does bad, i hope he balls out, if not though or isn't at least consistent, i don't see how we dont chase another WR, just incase

i know Jerry and the coaching staff are waiting to see how he does now with Hurd out and Williams

I doubt very seriously they would write off Austin regardless of what happens Saturday.

He's produced in games before and he shows up in practice.

He'll have every opportunity this year to prove himself and honestly I think he is going to turn into a consistent playmaker for us.

oh yea...i believe soo too...im just talking about an IF....

hes my favorite WR and i want him to put crayton at number 3

What i'm actually wondering is if Austin is going to take Roy's position.

The routes that Crayton runs are kind of a specialty thing. He is great at cleaning up underneath.

Austin/Hurd are better options as the X receiver imo. But I admit that I could be wrong and Crayton may do very well as the X.

Did we cut Jason Witten, Marion Barber, Felix Jones and Martellus Bennett and no one told me????

I look forward to seeing how our WR do in the game. I think it would be big for these guys to show we are not dependant on 1 player to get the job done.

The only thing Austin has proved, is the fact that he's often injured too

Thats why I said he will have every opportunity to prove himself but thanks for stating the obvious for everyone.

And that he can draw pass interference against Green Bay.

This would be a good time to give Stanback alot of reps to see if he has anything to offer. Meaningless game and you wont have your starting lineup, so why not.

Has it been declared that Austin will start?

For some reason I though Steve Beuhler was ahead of him on the depth chart.
