With Murray and Cally gone, do we see a shift in philosophy?

Meaning back to the throw it 50 times a game? JG and Linny love that style, so I am now not so sure.

If we get a guy like AP. I think you will see some thing like 60/65-40/35 pass vs run. With a ton of those passes being screens or swings to the RB, and letting him work.

Murray wasn't that great at those things. Just had decent hands.

Where are your mind have you ever heard that they love that style? This coaching staff is not going away from their identity.

No, not at all. This is Jason Garrett's and Stephen Jones' team now.

Callahan was the biggest fan of slinging the ball on the team. He is the one who is quoted saying he didn't think running the ball was important and would rather throw every down.

It can't change back to 50 attempts a game. I don't want to put the game all on Romo's shoulders. It has rarely worked out for the Cowboys in recent years.

Romo would not last a game if the philosophy reverted back to a pass emphasis. But Cowboys may not have much choice, there is no one on the roster who can be an every down threat and pick up those crucial "dirty yards".

Murray was here for several years while we were passing the ball all over the place. It wasn't because of him we made the switch in the first place.

Last I checked we still have that Oline.

Heard?? I witnessed it for the 6 years when JG was the play caller, and Linny in Detroit.

That doesn't mean they liked it. You witnessed it because neither had much of a choice and neither had an offensive line like they have now.
