With Shanahan, we're OK with chop blocks and dirty Oline play?

I wouldnt be, Never liked their OLine play. We dont have the guys to do it anyway

Absolutely not. If Shanahan is hired, he's stuck with our bruising mawling O-line, so I hope he doesn't bring that chop block scheme over here.

You know what? I'm sick of seeing our guys be the ones bullied and cheap-shotted. My answer? Absolutely.

Shanny is not coming here. with Garrett coming back he's gonna be our next HC after next season if not sooner.

Is this even an issue anymore? Shanny isn't coming here.

...but I've never like his OL characteristics.

I have never had a problem with it.

We had one of the filthiest, dirtiest meanest offensive linemen ever in Erik Williams and I loved to watch him play.

The second Shanahan is named, the chop blocks are no longer chop blocks. The chop blocks got a bad rap.

You watch. Were this to happen (note the conditional tense), this place would get all weird about chop blocks, instantly.

I've never bought into all the dirty Oline stuff, I just don't like Shannahan.

If he comes here, and we win a PO game and get into the SB , believe me, They'll be blinders on for the chop blocks, eye poking, groin grabbing etc.

The Cowboys offensive line is built to go north and south. It's built on power. Good luck with the "fairy" blocking and cheap shots and moving east and west with this offensive line.

By the way, "Shanny", doesn't like to put his team in pads, even in training camp.

Of course there would be. Just because I don't like chop blocking and small offensive lineman, doesn't mean I couldn't live with it if it meant a championship.

Good theoretical question, but I doubt our big boys could even get down on a player fast enough to get any better than a "gut block".

If Shanny were to come here, all of this OL would be gone by the trading deadline in Oct. Shanny could not use his system with these guys and would take what smaller, quicker lineman he could find to do his dirty work. He would just make do, with what he could until he drafted or aquired better talent.
Shanny has done nothing since Terrell Davis left, and will never win another ring. He would even get rid of TO after one season, learning that he is not an elite WR, any longer. He would try to make good use of our RB core, and Witten would love playing for him. He would never take this team to the next level. The only way he could make this team a winning team is to get the league to move them to the AFC West, and not have to play the NFC
East teams.

It would take longer than that to get rid of these players -- way too heavy on the cap.

Please if he did come to Dallas, I can bet that after the first season the league will put a new penalty against cut blocks. Just add it to the list of Dallas Cowboys rules
