With such a loaded WR room, can Anthony Smith make the roster?

I still think there's a good chance he makes it. They love to keep their own draft picks, and more than anything the others in that group are mostly vets who haven't shown anything. Maybe Holden stays since he was a priority UFA last year, or Mingo if Jerry just can't quit him.

Just watched his highlight reel. Impressive of course but let’s not forget he is going to be a tick slower in the NFL, relatively speaking. Looks tall and lanky.

I’d be stunned if he ends up on the 53 and dresses regularly. Four of the five WR spots are set barring injury, and Mingo has a certain advantage going for him. Smith is a PS guy, and the type of guy you want on it…raw with high upside. Probably a valuable scout team guy as well.

This guy has great hands and focus. Dude makes hard catches.

Speed is ok, his tallness helps. IDK about his route running. Reminds me little of Mike Evans.

To me we have too many possession type WRS all top 3 guys fit this mold, TURPIN obviously is our speed guy, but can you really count on him to be your WR he's still developing. Holden has been ok so far, Mingo has too but once again they're the same type. Would be nice to have Smith if he played well in camp and in the preseason but who knows
