With the 26th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft the Dallas Cowboys select

I never complain about quality linemen drafted either side. I doubt he would be the highest quality linemen left on the board at 26 though.

My reaction would be...who are they moving to OG. The draft pick, Steele, Tyron or Tyler. And after they decide who they are moving to OG...Who are they going to be the starting OTs and who will be the backups.

It is an interesting problem to have.

I have a feeling if they go oline early it will be someone who can play og/oc instead of OT. Maybe the kid from Minnesota or Arkansas.

Dawand Jones T Ohio St.

What's your reaction?
I would love it but I bet the Cowboys think they have four tackles already on the roster with Tyron, Tyler, Steele, and Welesko. I would draft Jones and feel the Cowboys would be able to compete with Eagles as the best line in football.

I like the player a lot, but not sure how he fits into our current roster construction.

Not going to happen…but if we got a 2nd for Steele before the draft it would make a lot more sense

I would trust the Cowboys track record of producing really good 1st round OL picks. I think I would draft the center out of the University of Minnesota Schmitz. I think he is just as good a prospect as Linderbaum last year and will be as good as Frederick.

Don’t know how this impacts the money we owe Steele but I’d get on board.

Depends on what the scouts think. I haven't even looked at his tape. But the general type of player makes sense if he's any good.
