With the Lavar signing does Ny have the edge over Wash to challenge us???

Just wondering what everbody thinks...the way I see it the Eagles will finish last and until now I felt the Midgets aka Giants would finish 3rd. The Deadskins did well with there signings but I know we will win the division. Lavar Arrington signed with the Giants so they should be competing. I think we have one of the top 2 divisions in the whole league...Us and???? Input please:

we swept the eagles, the skins swept us, the giants won the division - and all three teams are significantly different than last year. its anybody's guess who will finish 2-3-4 in the division, but i'm confident we have the guns to win it. after that, just on a hunch, i'll pick the giants and eagles to go 9-7 and the skins to drop to 7-9. they won't have a QB to take brunells place, and i don't think he has another year like last year with moss. beagles are still more of a factor than people seem to think. but the giants seem to be our biggest rival in the near future, IMO.
when you look at the coaches in our division - Parcells, Gibbs, Reid, and Coghlin - its tough to say there is a better-coached division in football. the south with tampa, atlanta, carolina is tough, but the patriots and colts together make for a tough division also.

Its nice to get a quality reply to my thread...I can see where you are coming from...I think the Commanders will unleash Jason Campell half-way thru the season and I think he will play well...as for Eli...he will do Okay....I really think Mcnabb is screwed....Great division though no matter what any hater wants to say...Peace

I agree that the East is easily the best division in football.
I think the iggles finish last again in the division. I don't think Mcnabb is that good and his WRs stink. They can't run the ball worth a crap and their defense isn't what it used to be.
I think NY will go down with Eli because he'll stink under pressure again. I think a lot of teams will watch film of the first game we played against them and their playoff game and see how to shut him down.
I think Wash will do well again if they go with Brunell all season but they'll fail mightily is they try to force Campbell to play. I think he's garbage and will never pan out. I think Ramsey was better than Campbell will ever be.
Our season rides on our OL. If they can open some holes and give DB some time...we'll be deadly. If not, the division will be up for grabs again.

But tell me this...Isnt it nice to talk back n forth about winning the division in April...Long time coming for our glory days to come back. I'm soo happy I'm a Loyal fan. Its about principles...It's funny watching the NBA playoffs and seeing how many Clipper fans there is in LA....Bandwagon fans are more visible now then ever due to our culture. Its all about the Image. I stay true. A major problem is Fantasy Football and always the "Vegas Factor" Ohhh....dont let me forget the messed up America we have become.

I agree but I think its funny and its about time someone, anyone rooted for the Clippers. I'm surprised they didn't move the franchise, not enough room in LA for a team not named the Lakers. That's like putting another pro football team in Texas, just ridiculous.

Very interesting spin to my spin...your right on target...thats why there is only an Arena team in Dallas besides the Boys being the most loved franchise in Dallas. Sometimes I wonder why other fans are soo ********. I know everyone is very excited about our chances...some people dont like to run with it and just believe we will have a magical season...but I do...I really hate all the Bledsoe haters more than anything...might I add. I think if our OL holds up and we pick someone up to play behind Ferguson we have a good a shot as anyone to win the division. But if our OL is even only marginally better that last year, forget about doing anything.

Challenge us? I think WE'RE the team that needs to do the challenging.....we missed the playoffs while both of them made it.

The Giants have improved over last offseason....not to say we haven't, but lets challenge them before we proclaim ourselves the "Team to Challenge" in the East.

I love our chances of winning the East, but we've done nothing the last 2 years to deserve any credit, all excuses aside.

Why would he be crazy??? Did Dallas make the playoffs last year. No. I too believe that New York was overrated last year, but the fact is that they won the division and made the playoffs while the Cowboys were sitting at home watching.

Signing TO doesn't make you guys the team to beat. Dallas has to earn it. Until they win the division, they are just like the rest of the division, fighting for the title.

I don't know why everybody believes that the boys' are the team to beat in the NFC East. The signed TO, released valuable veterans and signed their replacements. The skins' signed Carter, Archuleta, Randle-El, Lloyd but lost a playmaking LB. The Giants REALLY upgraded their defense this offseason. The Eagles may not have signed any big name players but they will be competitive and will give every team they face fits.

All we know for sure is that the NFC East is wide open for anybody to take. TO does not instantly put Dallas on top of the division, GET OVER IT!
