How long are you willing to baby him?
Until his salary cap hit gets to the point we can't afford to wait any longer. That is the thinking at Valley Ranch and I think it is pretty sound.

I am not sure why you are trying to argue with someone who makes judements on one game? I mean its not like we didn't expect people to be pretty much write off Henson as soon as he has a bad game?

Heck I have been saying that since he was slated to go to NFL Europe.Henson is in no win situation right now. If he has good game, its against Scrubs. If he doesn't have one, he can't even play against scrubs. Thats the way its going to be.

I'm not sure either. Then again, I was one of the few defending our free agent moves last weekend.

Tony Romo will NOT be on this roster at season's start.

The QB depth chart will be...

1) Bledsoe
2) A low-priced vet to be determined
3)Henson

i already said this 2 weeks back:

NO will trade their 2 or third rounder for romo.

Uhhhh, don't you think it would have been smart to wait to see if you were actually RIGHT before saying "you heard it here first"??

Yes give up your 2nd or 3rd round pick when you need because your rebuilding for Romo after just signing Drew Brees. Not a chance

here is my logic: brees may or may not be ready for TC (after shoulder injury), peyton will need someone who knows his system, comes cheap (in monetary terms), and he trusts to start a couple of games in a pinch.

answer: romo

i have no doubt something will be offered, whether we accept or not will depend on our opinion of romo. if we view him as the future after DB then no way do i do this deal, if we dont, then we would get a 2 or 3 pick for an un-drafted player who will be a FA at the end of this year.

if it is to happen it will happen on draft day once NO trades down to pick up an extra 2 or 3 (since they dont need to pick a QB with their first pick anymore). that way they still get the player NO wants (D'Brick or AJ Hawk) and romo and we get another day 1 pick.

lets wait and see, time will tell. :)

Henson's whole contract is cap friendly unless he hits incentives, and those incentives won't be hit if he can't earn BP's trust and beat out DB
