Cowboys fans don't want to hear it but, the Eagles have the best ownership in the division. They also have a better front office that uses the draft, trade AND free agency to improve their roster. All three are what successful NFC franchises have been doing of late (Eagles, 9ers, Rams and to a degree the Bucs).

Dallas is good at drafting but refuses to explore the other necessary steps.

Do Dumb & Dumber feel any shame looking at our rival lap us like this?

When the Eagles win on Sunday, that will be 3 Super Bowl appearances, 7 Conference Title appearances, 16 playoff wins since the last time the Cowboys got out of the divisional round.
This is true but let's be honest, they didn't even think Hurts was the guy until this year. Hell, they were ready to jump in the Watson bidding until he took them off his list and had a discussion about Russell Wilson. Why do you think they accumulated multiple 1st round picks? If Hurts didn't work out, they were planning to move up and draft a top QB. But Lurie ordered Roseman to surround Hurts with major talent/weapons and see how he fares.....the rest we know. In other words, they have a little luck going for them but hey whatever it takes.

When the Eagles win on Sunday, that will be 2 Super Bowls since 2018 after swapping out coaches, QB, players, offensive/defensive systems.

It will be 3 Super Bowl appearances, 7 Conference Title appearances, 16 playoff wins since the last time the Cowboys got out of the divisional round.
Here are the differences:

1) Howie knows how to work the CAP and manipulate it. He knows how to write contracts so that he can get out of them. Even when he does screw up a contract liek the one with Wentz he isn't afraid to get rid of him and take the hit.
2) Howie always seems to be on the winning side when it comes to trades. How many draft picks did he sucker out of teams for freaking Sam Bradford and Carson Wentz? Getting AJ Brown for one 1st round pick. Jerry would have given up two. Jerry gives Cooper away for a 5th. Eagles get Darius Slay for a 3rd and a 5th
3) Howie actually goes after premium players in free agency. Hassan Reddick, Javon Hargrave, Kyzir White, James Bradberry, Suh, etc. Meanwhile we go dumpster diving.
4) I actually think we draft a little better but not that much better. Not enough to compensate for the lack of free agent action.

PHL has a GM that has to produce. He already got demoted once when Lurie handed over the reins to Kelly.

There is a huge difference between having to win and wanting to win.

The Cowboys are an unusual example of a bad employer and bad employee and they're the same person.

That is why if the Bengals get beat Sunday, I will be cheering for Philly to win another.....I hate them more than ANY other sports team on the planet, but I want Booger to feel as much pain as humanly possible. And here we are, trying to think of a creative way to keep Zeke.

The Eagles got lucky. From what I remember it was Wentz who wanted to be traded that is why the Eagles got a first round pick plus for Wentz. The Eagles hit aces on every move since they picked missed out on CeeDee and Jefferson.

Niners and Eagles have the best GMs in football in my opinion. Lynch going to get Trent Williams and Christian McCaffrey were strokes of genius.

Everything that Howie's done since 2018 has been masterful with the exception of drafting WRs. But even he realized that and went and got AJ Brown.
Biggest difference IMO. Other FO's know when they have made a mistake and can admit it.

Our FO compounds the mistake with a contract that is immovable.

Teams that are not afraid to move on from talent tend to excel in the NFL. Historically, one of the Cowboys biggest failures is keeping players that cost too much relative to production after their rookie deal. The Cowboys front office is playing checkers with personnel and cap management while the better organizations in football are playing multidimensional chess.
This is exactly it, we don't know when to let go. The fact that Zeke had 876 yards for 3.8 ypc, and there's debate on whether he's coming back or not proves this point

And our guy says Super Bowls aren’t won in the off-season.

They are so unreal clueless it’s sickening, and getting worse. Not sure how much longer I can do it tbh.

Bingo

Just look at the chiefs. They had a good quarterback in Alex Smith and the vast majority of teams would have been happy with that. They knew they needed a move and moved up for Mahomes.

Eagles front office is leap and bounds better then us. Hell even the Giants trending in the right direction now. They improved the OL and look what it did for them. If they bring in some legitimate WR and continue to improve the OL they can be dangerous as well

Other deep playoff / superbowl contending teams also don't treat FA like it's the devil

What's sad is Aikman hinted at wanting this GM job a few years ago and Dumb & Dumber blew him off.
It wasn't even a hint, he wants a GM job in the NFL. I'm sure he would prefer the Cowboys in his heart, but also understand how the Jones run things.

Well, in all fairness, the debate is in the media; we don't know whether the FO is debating it or not.

It's because they can still make money regardless until we stop buying merch, going to/watching games, etc nothing will change.

Roseman is a better GM than Jerry.

Stop. Just stop.
Never mentioned Roseman. You really are bent out of shape arent you?

Again, the Niners were the better team. LOL

This was all expected. And for a Dak hating troll like you, why are you acting so surprised?

You would swear we were playing the Bucs and Dak played like this.
