I don't think what Jason did had anything to do with Martellus. I think he was trying to run his routes and get open like he does every week, and for some reason, the Giants weren't getting that every route Jason ran was "run five yards and turn out".

I was embarassed for the Giants defense, tbh. Not to take anything away from Jason, but he ran the same route every play.. and the Giants never once broke up a pass or jumped it for a pick. That's just awful defense.

Its also another reason why im so confused as to why we don't use Jason more in the red zone. We never have, just as we never used Bennett when he was here and never use Dez much either, and it boggles the mind as to what we are thinking. When you have a guy as athletic and big and strong as Dez and Bennett.. or a guy like Witten who excels at using his body to shield the defender from the ball.. you use that to your advantage when you're deep in the red zone.

No doubt the reason Bennett was never made the #1 TE on the team is because he was playing behind a HOF type TE. Kind of a no brainer that Witten was and is the starting TE for Dallas. Bennett found a home at least for this year in NY and has done very well for them and they seem to like the production he has provided them. He is not better than Witten but not many are.

Does he? He seemed to be just fine his last two years here accepting his role as a blocker and putting good effort into being one of the best in the league at that role he was asked to perform.

Bennett wanted an increase role, did he make waves? No but when he got the chance to resign or to move on he moved on. I don't get this if he threw a fit here in Dallas then it would have been acceptable? But if he just went about the job he was being asked to do then he did not care?

Certainly he wanted an increased role.. but like you said, he didn't make a big stink about it. He went out there and worked hard to be one of the best in the game in the role he was asked to perform and when he got the chance to go to a team that wanted him to be a bigger part of the passing game, he did.

No problems with that, here. I appriciate what he did for us as a blocker and wish him luck now that he gets a chance to be a weapon in the offense.

He most definitely cares about stats and really showing the Cowboys they were wrong about him...

His brother was debating Derek Eagleton on twitter the other night on who was having the better season. Witten or Bennett. Bennett's bro was pulling every trick out of his hat to show how much better Bennett is.

I thought it was sad.

Again.. i ask, does he? Haven't seen any actual information to prove that yet, and i did bring up how he spent his last two years here performing his role by working hard to become one of the best blocking TE's in the league. I didn't hear much complaining from him at all, he certainly didn't make a big fuss over it. How do you respond to that?

Also not sure how what his brother says and does relates to him. He can't put a muzzle on his family members.. its a weak attempt to blame Martellus for something that is not of his own doing.
