He is just killing it so far....the only negative with his stats is his lack of TDs. Still, if he continues at this pace, He will have almost 100 receptions and almost 1,700 yds receiving. Now we all know the yardage won't be quite that high, but the receptions should be.

so Hos, do you have the latest from our greatest?
Yes, I do.

First let me congratulate Tony Romo for moving past Don Meredith into 4th place on the Cowboys all time passing yardage list.

Jason Witten now has 630 career receptions for 7189 yards. He is 106 yards behind Bob Hayes for 4th place all time on the Cowboys list.

Jason is now 1 reception behind HOFer and former Cowboys Assistant Coach, Raymond Berry for #49 on the all time receptions list.

Here are the players directly in front of Witten and in his crosshairs.

44. Charley Taylor, 649 (HOF)
T45. Drew Hill, 634
T45. Steve Smith, 634
47. Don Mayard, 633 (HOF)
48. Raymond Berry, 631 (HOF)
49. Witten, 630

All hail, Jason!

Did he lose the game today? :)

Do we need to trade him?:)

A couple days ago there was a 49er fan on here who argued vigorously that Vernon Davis was a far better TE than Witten.

I wonder how that guy's evening has been? I wonder if he is hiding somewhere and wimpering in shame?

I do have to admit that I didn't expect a 2-18 day from Davis.

Davis is by far a better built and more athletic player than Witten. But by no means is he even in the same stratosphere when it comes to playing the TE position in the NFL. Witten is the #1 overall TE in the NFL, hands down.

When I first read that I thought you implied 49th of Cowboys all-time and I was in shock.
