Witten Today

First, THANK YOU coaches for not throwing him screens and letting him get open by using his deceptive moves and getting down the field into the soft spots....
That is how you successfully use Witten.

Second, I've been critical of Witten's blocking in the past, but he had some SUPERB blocks today creating lanes for Murray. Real nice trap blocks and hooks, positioning the defender out of the play perfectly, and then some real nice showings of strength when he had to straight up hold up a bigger defender.

Good thread. It's so easy to take Witten for granted because he's so consistent. I for one am enjoying his career immensely. We are witnessing something special.

The offense as a whole played very well today. He did have some very nice blocks.
